okay I actually didn't expect to get lectured over an expression, but I take it, I love your interpretation and I agree with you 100% that it was forced. Of course, FL didn't love him and she shouldn't have marry him out of obligation either or for revenge because then she would also have a sad life. Unfortunately, I do feel sorry for him because even if Qingru loves him, he doesn't love her and even if later he accepts the marriage, it was still an arranged marriage he didn't want. Maybe he would have married later with someone he also loved if FL refused him from the start.

It's truly devastating because Chunzhi doesn't love Qingru. If a woman would marry a character she doesn't love, everyone would understand her and wouldn't expect to love the man back, but here Chunzhi was the one forced to marry! Yeah okay he was a bit insistent (and naive) but after all his fate is so sad. (i have a few episodes left until the ending but I don't think I'm gonna change my opinion, everything that happened related to the marriage is painful)

i don't know where to say this but I JUST HATE IT when the lyrics of the OST is translated at the same time with the replies oh my it's just so annoying

I don’t interpret her actions and thoughts like that. She’s just very intelligent and in my life I’ve met a lot of competent people like her in my domain. She started knowing a little about her case, only what she saw when she was just a child, but gradually she discovered a lot of things with the help of other people (or by analysing the ones she interacted with). She made mistakes and learned from them. She has her doubts about what she does too.

I just think that some steps happen “behind the scenes” and they’re implied like that. If they would show everything that happened, the drama would have been longer. But I guess there’s also a matter of taste, as I prefer shorter dramas than 40+ episodes ones.

also I love how we don't have a mary sue FL, i mean she's intelligent and analitical but she doesn't have martial skills and that proves to be her weakness A LOT so it's really realistic

why did the rating dropped so much lol, i'm at 18th episode and this drama is amazing. I know that some people would disagree but it lost almost a point???

I didn't watch this drama yet but now that I'm Du Cuique I'm gonna pay attention to this character
