Actually, this was his last scandal but there are others more but had been deleted. Photos of him and his ex touching her private parts were posted on instagram, there were also leaked of his wechat messages asking/talking about sex with random women and there were also ‘photos’ of him and his agent indicating a relationship. In China’s culture, they do not condone western’s ‘normal’ where it’s okay to touch your girlfriends boobs/butt and then post it on social media. I guess that’s why many cnetz reacted negatively on that.

It’s actually a funny and light romance series. Didn’t expect anything despite the negative comments I see on twitter but still quite enjoyed it. If a drama can make me laugh out loud despite the cliché trope then it’s well done and well acted. 👌🏻

Sometimes it’s not about who chooses but the offered scripts to her. She or the agency has to choose the best of the best on the offered scripts. She doesn’t get offered different types of roles that much because she’s popular with sweet dramas. She mentioned all this in her kuaishou live. That’s why she took on ‘the young flying fox’ hoping she’ll be able to show a different side of her. The same goes with other agencies, it’s not easy to transfer agencies(especially if you are not offered a contract as well). They actually have a ‘meeting with both parents scene’ but was deleted or not included. I don’t know why though. There are some deleted scenes in the drama, would have been nice to see it. 😭
