The novel is a classic and well-loved by wuxia fans. Although this drama is just the prequel or first part of Hu Fei’s (QJJ’s character) story.

We’ll never know how they will do it in the drama though. As far as the trailers go, the plot is very close to the novel.

Qjj’s character is in love with Liang Jie’s character but they can’t be together. Xing fei’s character is in love with Qjj’s character but he only treats her as his sister. Both are female leads and neither of them got the male lead.
