Maybe you have missed it, but Mu Ze sends his men to track Lu Anran’s father and it was reported back to Lu Anran by Dong Qing(got the news from her brother). So if she goes back with his father, Mu Ze will still stalk her, that’s why she said she can’t escape Mu Ze’s palm. Not to mention, her brother is still in danger. Her best choice is actually just to kill herself at this point, she’s tired of the cycle but she can’t run away forever. There’s also no assurance they can be back safely to their hometown, hence, the Pisces order is already in the emperor’s hands they can control the ports with or without Lu Anran. The reason why Mu Chuan is also frustrated because without power(armies/men) he really can’t protect Lu Anran and her family. Unless, he kills his own beloved brother.

I guess it’s not noticeable but the changes are about ordinary people trusting the right person(Mu Chuan), that they also have a voice, that ordinary citizens, together, they can have greater power than the royalties, it was a subtle and brief message. In the first life, none of Mu Ze’s allies died, but in the second life, they slowly but surely died. It may be the same effect to the heroine’s family but we are so focused on the heroine’s revenge that we tend not to notice that these small changes actually affect others. Not just the main characters but the supporting ones. Just like Lu Anran, she was so focused on hatred that she forgot to be happy. To live life to the fullest. To accept fate as it is. That revenge may not be the reason to her reborn but something else. But of course, we also want some kickass payback. I think the author wants to give the viewers a reality check as well and I just hope they will do it right and satisfying by the end of the show.

Lol. Prince Yi wants the business himself not Lu Anran. He could just order to kill the entire family but Mu Ze’s army/guards are hovering the Lu Family that’s why he can do no damage. Lu Anran is only alive because Mu Ze wants to use her.
