On the other hand I felt the focus on romance took away from the mystery aspect of it. I do love Maxtul, they do intimate scenes really well but yeah sometimes it was too much effort on the romance when the plot was dealing with trafficking of women. I don't mind that the romance is toned down here, the drama is dealing with the themes of Euthanasia, I prefer that they have kept it serious and not made it just the background for a BL story.
I felt sad for Dr Kan when he said he lived and worked here and not in Bangkok because his father doesn't approve of his preference. That he feels Wasan was lucky to have an open minded mother. This adds so much more depth to him telling Wasan "I know you are just like me. There's no need to deny it"
For me it's much higher than MoD or 4 Minutes....much higher....
I agree with you. I haven't seen 4 minutes but I have seen Manner of Death which had writing problems as well as pacing issues and choppy editing , I love Maxtul but in terms of acting Tor and JJ are on another level. This one looks far better in terms of production finish as well.
This show is so amazing....I don't understand the low rating while other shows that barely have a good storyline…
Actually tbh from the moment this drama and cast was announced I have seen plenty of people trying to bring it down, first they said these are mainstream actors they probably won't do a BL, it will be turned to bromance and what not and then with acting, chemistry, plot everything people seem to want to find faults in it, when so many BLs that have 8.5 above ratings aren't even that good at all, have far more script, editing, acting problems. I really don't understand it. These are my observations since I started following this page from last year.
I just want to say, I am so glad this series was made and they cast these two as the leads. It's such a pleasure to be able to see their performances on screen. I am loving this drama so so much.
Honestly many years ago like 10-15 years ago I too was into the specifics of Top and Bottom but not anymore. I am always looking to be surprised, and I am firmly team vers now. It really doesn't matter who is top and bottom. If it's a good story and I like the ship chemistry, it's fine. Also Dr Kan can be a top but also be a babygirl tbh.
This is a novel by the same author and takes place in the same universe as Manner of Death. Not a knock off
Yeah MOD , Triage , Euthanasia are all in the same universe. Dr Bun actually makes an appearance in the novel in Euthanasia. Don't know if Tul Pakorn is going to appear here or not since he announced he isn't acting anymore but Tan and Bun both did make an appearance in the adaptation of Triage.
