I don’t think so…. They barely know each other in the webtoon plus Hwayun is a lady from aristocrat family, they can’t just mix their role. But can be possible if the production team say so. I guess Shinwon story was considered insignificant, thus they decide to focus on the main plot only, since it only consists of 12 eps.

Yes, i have read it. Apparently there is love triangle in the webtoon, Shinwon being the 2nd male lead will get his own happy ending with another lady. But i’m not sure how it will turned out in the drama version since i don’t see her in the casting list :)

I don’t think this one is good for beginners, bcs it don’t explain well about familial relationship & certain situations are just left hanging? We need to learn the history by ourselves unless we won’t understand what’s going on. I guess the main target is Korean people who are more aware of their own history, but it is getting exploded & gaining interest from international fans so yeah this got very popular. But, historical drama lovers would definitely attached to this one hehe

It is very good! Even the costumes are great. Netflix drama’s props never disappoint though

I feel like rewatching this series for the nth times…

1) there is no love triangle actually, but u may feel it in the beginning bcs they made it like that lol BUT IT REALLY WASN’T!
2) they officially got together in quite later eps, around ep 16 i think. This is indeed a very slow burn drama
3) nope, but there was a brief moment of separation before they got together. It wasn’t long tho, only for 1 eps
4) ahhahaha don’t expect too much from a historical dramas, especially the one based on true story. They can’t made up a fictional ending, but it was a beautifully wrapped! We call it sappy (sad but happy) ending.
imo if u like historicals and don’t necessarily need a happy ending, u should try this! It’s masterpiece

Wowww can’t wait for original naksu to comeback!! I’m not saying i hate her in mudeok’s body but she’ll eventually need to resolve the “stealing body” issue since she’s the protagonist. So, i don’t mind even if they need to change the cast.

Yup, i’m glad that i’m not the only one who didn’t expect much sport scenes 😂 In fact, i found this show quite light and fresh in kdrama industry since nowadays every job in dramas are taken very seriously, which sometimes can be quite overwhelming. I just love the pace & ambiance in this drama 👍🏻

Oh, plus i love angsty melodrama 💕💕 I have no idea that LAP would turn into some crying party in the middle 😭😭 But i still love it!

Right, this isn’t some kind of “inspirational” sport dramas where they’ll chasing their dreams like they don’t have any other life (athletes got personal issues, too dude. Life isn’t all about tournaments). They’re not some teenagers who are trying to get into every matches like their lives depend on it (well still depend bcs they got paid for playing lol, at least they got paid even tho they lost). They’re adult (25 yo for fk sake) who already passed through that youth dream-chasing phase. For now, they’re just trying to do their job just like any other carriers and overcoming hurdles that came with it.

Idk why sports dramas are treated differently, as if they owe something to viewers (sport scenes especially). Imagine protesting for not having much office scenes in office-romance drama lol 😂

Just enjoy the show guys. If u don’t like it then just drop it (?) don’t waste your time for something u don’t enjoy, it’s entertainment after all. If u don’t feel entertained, that’s mean you’re not the target market. And u didn’t need to chase away newcomers that just come by to do some survey (saying this bcs i saw some people doing this below).
