But now it’s probably bcs she’s relieved that their first encounter was’t fabricated by Jo court lady and used that fact to accept her true feelings.

I do hope they would show more of deokim’s POV since we always trying to figure out her minds, in contrast to San’s feeling which is crystal clear even from the start. The novel itself was said written on Deokim’s POV, so why would they leave us on the gray area about what’s really going on in her heads 😭😭

How lucky i am to watch this while on going. This drama is rich in details which make me crave for additional theories 😭👌🏼👌🏼

Aren’t they going to cover about Prince Sado (Yi San father) execution too? Bcs i remember seeing some kind of rice chest in one of their greeting videos. If yes, I think it would too much since they have to end this in 8 episodes. Wish this drama have longer episodes :(((

I think it’s not as heavy as Mr. Sunshine. This mainly focus on romance rather than political issues, but the political parts was done neatly without draggy unnecessary scenes. The first few episodes feels like heart-fluttering romcoms instead of melodrama. But i couldn’t guarantee that the future eps would do the same, as the history itself is the spoiler :))

Actually, after endless rewatching, i’ve found they mentioned “crown princess” in the scene where little deokim cs was scolded by the head court ladies and told to touch the lie detector. I think it was said one of deokim’s friends is working in the crown princess palace.
So, they did acknowledge the presence of crown princess here implicitly. Maybe they chose not to show her in person bcs it can be a big turn off for some people and made the drama less attractive.
