Lol I dont think Korea has such a service? It sounds very much like what they have in Japan. Feels like an adaptation…
There's a Japanese movie called "A Bride for Rip Van Winkle," which features a similar service. The FL does not have many relatives or friends so she asks an agency to send people to her wedding to pretend to be her relatives.
Omg, after watching 10 episodes, I just (finally) realized what she means in her introduction when she says, "Kayak, deed, rotator, noon, racecar, woo young woo"... Am I dumb?
Well we know they will break up and she will get engaged to Yuan Shen and in the MV for the theme song we can…
> It's part of her character growth.
Lol. But thinking about it a little more, it makes sense if the reason is different (and more mature) each time:
1. Yao: to get away from her parents asap. 2. LBY: no choice as it was emperor's will. 3. YS: she hit her head and had brain damage leading her to believe YS was an actual good match. 4. LBY 2.0: for love, hopefully.
not that it matters for part 1 anymore, but im a bit confused as to why the staff refuses to remove the friday…

Hahaha, the first episode is comically fast-paced. A lot of things happen in just the first 20 minutes (see below),…
In the first 20 minutes:
* FL gets married * FL attempts assassination * FL gets tortured * FL's best fried rescues her, takes her place and burns herself * FL gets a plastic surgery * FL's master slips and dies
Ultimately, FL restarts life as a different person.
Hahaha, the first episode is comically fast-paced. A lot of things happen in just the first 20 minutes (see below), but I also like that the show basically goes "Now that that's out of the way, let's get the real story started."
She was definitely hurt by her mother's words as anyone would be, but also she is used to being belittled and bullied her entire life. Maybe why she didn't seem completely devastated. I think she handled the situation (and after) fairly maturely despite the friendly-fire. She was hoping things would change after her parents return but now she just has yet another hostile person (yeah, yeah, her mother cares and everything right). Feels bad.
She also seemed to be the only person thinking at that moment. If she had refused, their heads would roll. Even if emperor was lenient due to LBY, who would marry her after she was publicly humiliated by her own family and her reputation destroyed. But I think she decided to marry (or felt reassured) after LBY's response when she asked if he'd still marry her with all her flaws.
You can count the number of people who respect her on one hand. Sure she'll be in more danger given LBY. Sure her future in-laws' place is complicated. But on the bright side, she can get away from her 'caring' mother finally. LBY loves and respects her, and she knows he's an ideal husband. I was surprised that she accepted, but definitely the right decision.

What she says and what's subbed is different, so maybe I was a little confused, or I'm just dumb (more likely).

Please tell me you are kidding. I can't stand him! And, can't handle CSS getting engaged for the 3rd time.
