The painting has the grandmother with both her real and fake granddaughter. By drawing 2 of the girls, she's confessing…
I had to re-watch bits of the movie to remember what the painting was. At that time, I hadn't expected her to be fake. The painting is still not obvious to me, but your explanation makes sense. Thanks.
Was it the late emperor or the current emperor (Han Ye's dad) that ordered the massacre on the Di family?
According to first 2mins of ep1, it was Han Ye's dad (current emperor) who exterminated the Di family. Di Ziyuan was saved since she was engaged to the crown prince thanks to the late emperor (founding (?) emperor).
Wait it's airing? Why is everything so quiet here? Do people not know?
Came from this list: https://kisskh.at/list/71NwARGL expecting an air date, but it's already airing, wat. But the subs aren't good, so gotta wait a bit.
I still somehow prefer cdrama schedules to that of kdramas or jdramas. Maybe it's the high number of episodes that allows for one episode or more per day.
Synopsis says "Repeating her reincarnation for nearly a thousand years..."
1000 years seems a bit much for 19 lives. Life expectancy rose dramatically towards early 1900s, and now it's ~75y. But there were wars and everything so let's assume she's had 3 lives since then. From 1500 to 1900, the average life expectancy was about 40y, so 10 lives. Another 6 lives before 1500 would be about 200y at the rate of ~35y per life. So 700 years. I wouldn't say this is nearly a thousand years. That would average to 50y per life which is unreasonable. Especially considering how sometimes she might die prematurely (like accidents).

Also wonder if they actually drew the drawing for the movie or if it was photoshop'd.
Lol they bring this up at least once every episode.

I hope they show more of the other 2 friends or the 3 friends together, but also the main couple is so cute.
