man these comments are rather vitriolic for a show I'd consider to be a pretty standard Thai BL. Is it excellent? I wouldn't say so. But is it as egregiously bad as you would expect from the amount of hostility here? I don't think so either.

Man, it’s halfway through April already and still no release date :(
I hope it’ll still air this month

I loved this so much!! I think it's so underrated. I'm really hoping more people decide to watch this excellent show.

Title Under the Skin Spoiler
BIG POSSIBLE SPOILER but I'm wondering after the tenth episode if He Hong, the suspicious mother, is the lipstick lady Shen Yi's trying to find. When she went into his office, she looks at the picture of her on his wall and she says that it looks like the younger version of her. But the drawing Shen Yi just did of the lipstick lady was right next to that drawing. And, now we know that this lady has received massive facial reconstruction surgery, so it's possible she could've looked like an entirely different person. Plus, we know she's a criminal from the end of episode ten. I wonder if I'm right or if I'm just sorely misunderstanding something, haha.

I think that xiaoxuan knew that qu lanxin is a girl all along, but she fantasises lanxin to be a guy in her heart…
Yeah, that’s what I ended up thinking, actually. Seeing lanxin as a girl makes it so that she can’t pretend she’s a guy anymore. She’s been confronted with the indisputable truth.

I'm liking this show quite a bit, but I'm confused about one thing. In the case in episode five with the girls, I thought ren xiaoxuan knew that qu lanxin was a girl, not a guy. Because wasn't that what the lying in her notebook was about? The days she lied about liking a guy were the same days she lied about the weather, which seemed to directly imply that she knew qu lanxin was a girl. Did I miss something or is this some kinda censorship thing?

Title In Your Heart Spoiler
that was the WORST final episode I've ever seen. What happened here?? Maybe the show was't excellent or anything, but I thought it was decent at least for the first 7 episodes. However, it went completely off the rails in the last episode, at least IMO. That scene with the forced kiss was cringeworthy and tasteless. Considering it was teased, like twice in the series (episodes 1 and 7), I was expecting it would've been better. But no, it just gets worse and worse until the scene ends with literal assault. And what was with the ending?? I dislike the whole separation trope, but I was willing to tolerate it here, expecting they would reunite at the end after a time skip. But they didn't?? what in the world.

I just watched episode 3 and I'm liking it, it seems fun, but there's just one problem. Is it just me, or is there a weird lack of any background music? Like I feel like in several of the scenes so far, it's been oddly silent where usually there'd be some kind of music playing. It's not that big of a deal, I'm just wondering if it's just me who noticed it hahaha.

Title The Lost Tomb 2 Spoiler
I enjoyed this quite a bit!! I liked it a lot more than The Lost Tomb (2015). I thought it was more exciting and the dynamics between the characters were better. My favorite part, however, was the Republican era story towards the end of the drama. Oh! My! God! When I say I'm obsessed. I thought the story between Zhang Buxun and Zhang Gaoyuan was incredible. I loved Dou Cheng too. If I was rating that story as its own separate thing, I would've given it a 10/10, that's how much I loved it. I also really loved Cheng Yi's acting as Zhang Buxun. Don't get me wrong, I really liked his portrayal of Zhang Qiling, but I loved him as Zhang Buxun even more. I loved how sincere all of his expressions were; it made me so interested in the character. I'd love to rewatch that entire arc soon. I really can't praise it enough.

I was really, really rooting for this show, but I'm not happy about the direction it's going. Too much random plot and random characters and not enough scenes between the main leads. I think this plot with the side characters could've worked, it's fairly interesting IMO, but it would've needed a much longer runtime. And about the relationship between the leads, I think it's a bit hard to buy. Not because they don't have chemistry or anything - I think they're really cute together, actually, but we've barely seen them interact. They have these really intense emotions towards each other and it doesn't make a ton of sense because they hung out like once. Sighhhh. I'm hoping it'll pick up again in the last two episodes, but I feel like I'm going to finish this show feeling sorely disappointed. :(

I didn't like it very much - the writing isn't very good. If you're going to use an established creature like…
I can see what you're talking about concerning the plot, but I don't think it's really fair to criticize it a ton for its portrayal of vampires being too different. I feel like a lot of modern day depictions of vampires have some kind of twist to set them apart. Vampire stories have been done so many times I think they need "something" to be unique and not boring, which this show is doing. Honestly, I'd argue that this isn't that much more of an atypical depiction of vampires than, like, Twilight or something.
