Person Hong Jong Hyun Spoiler
I loved him in the king of love. Unpopular Opinion I preferred him over the other guy.
So did she, which was the point of the drama.

You should try Unrequited Love it's very good. I think you'll really like the female lead.
Let me know what you think when you're done with it. :)

I am not so interested in C dramas.. But this is one of my favorites!!!! Maybe the best school drama I've ever…

The production value was great for those drama during their time xD I wouldn't call it bad, just archaic.I mean…
IMHO, Hana Yori Dango is tied with Meteor Garden as being the best live versions of the manga. BoF made the FL pretty pathetic, but I loved the side romance between her friend and the ceramic guy.

I feel that this video is misleading . The title says 7 Japanese dramas for beginners meaning the video should…
I think it's okay. These are the dramas that got MDL members into J-drama which means that they are very good. (Except for maybe Morning Call, but that's just me.)

People in the poll chose Kimi wa Petto (2003) but all the pics used are from the remake.Interestingly, this seems…
I can't remember if mine was Kimi Wa Petto (2003) or Nadame Cantabile but I'm pretty sure it was Kimi wa Petto... I remember thinking if Matsumoto Jun was at my door I'd keep him too. LOL

Yes I do. If she is the victim of a sexual assault or having a baby will cause physical or economic harm a woman can get an abortion without the father's signature. So basically in Japan, abortion is legal during the first 2 trimesters and it's not a problem to get a doctor to sign off on oneduring the 1st trimester; but once a woman hit's the 12-week mark there has to be something very wrong for a woman to be able to get one.

I'm glad I started with the old classics, tbh the "so many dramas so little time" is a scary mantra for a newbie…
You should do a classic version (at lest 10 yrs old) of this list.... I nominate:
J-drama
Kimi wa Petto
Buzzer Beat
Pride
T-drama
Mars
Autumn's Concerto
The Rose
K-drama
Coffee Prince
Secret Garden
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

I agree with you
Japan has a very low birth rate so their government is worried. As a result they have policies to discourage abortions. For example if a woman wants to have one she needs to bring a man with her to sign the form. Also 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions are rare because they are listed as still births and a hospital has to provide a death certificate and either cremate or preform a burial for the remains.

The original version is much better than all versions, so I still choose the Taiwanese version
I liked that one best too.

Title Love Won't Wait Spoiler
Why does he have to die in the dramas he stars in, this just to much, even though I have not watched it yet.
You might want to check out Autumn Concerto, he doesn't die in that one.

OMG, that was the worst!
We'd be better off petitioning Gu Man to write something for him...
Boss & Me, My Sunshine, and Love 020 were pretty good dramas.

hopefully, this won't turn into "Les Interprètes" 2.0...

Title Love in Sadness Spoiler
Name me some
I watched Kluen Cheewit, Sawn Biang will give all that and more. Innocent Man and Autumn's Concerto both have that love/hate thing going on; Far Away Love has it to a lesser degree. Japan doesn't really "do" that kind story unless you count Hana Yuri Dango & Wolf Girl and Black Prince type stories so I'll give you Secret, which is all about that, from Korea instead.
One Million Stars is the only drama one this list that has a sad ending, so it's safe to watch the other ones if you're interested in checking them out.
