WAR YOU BETTA ACT!!! 😭😭 How is he so fine AND this talented?! Like, he ate up his EVERY character in this series, I’m actually shocked. He didn’t just play his roles, he lived them, and you can FEEL it through the screen! It hurts how underrated he is, especially when most BL actors can’t act. He seriously deserves more recognition because he carried the whole series on his back. The range, the emotions… WOW. 🙌 We need to start hyping him up more, for real!!!
It was so ass, omg. Also, it isn’t a remake of addicted heroin. it’s a whole other badly-acted and corny version of it. Like, where is the angst? Where is the drama??? I’m not even mentioning the fact that the mac guy is 17 years old, which is way too young for his acting partner, like ????? Also, I’m sorry, but he cannot act and deliver the emotions . I’m dropping it right away.
What's with the rating? Y’all give low ratings to all dramas that aren't lovey-dovey and sweet. In my opinion, this drama is admirable and excellent for raising awareness about the sex industry, the challenges queer people face, and the difficulties of the homeless, queer individuals, and sex workers. Naturally, it was handled with a dark concept, as it should be. Unlike other shows, there isn't always someone supporting queer people, or like in many unrealistic romantic comedies, life isn't always rosy. I congratulate Japan for making this BL truly realistic and for bringing awareness to multiple difficult topics that other series often avoid. It’s not a BL that covers topics everyone can handle, but for those seeking a realistic and psychological drama, I recommend it. Even though it’s not for people who have triggers about various topics, you will watch how two people, whose lives are completely shattered and messed up, understand each other and heal their wounds together.
I’m only on ep2 but who is the emperor in the previous life? Does he ever appear? I don’t see an emperor on…
The Emperor had minimal impact on the plot, which is why his screen time was limited. However, you will see more of him after one or two episodes. He is Shen Jie, the brother of Princess Shen Zhi Yi, portrayed by Zhou Da Wei.
i really liked the plot. acting and the 2000s kdrama feeling but the pairing was just ‘something’ rain and kim ha neul don’t really have chemistry together both of them looked so dull while acting togehter but besides that it’s a solid 9/10 drama
