Love the tension development between Kaoru & Manami. That forbidden love is cominggg. Idk why but Japanese age-gap drama always drew me in. 🤣

Yeahhh I was about to comment on this. The more I see him, the more I see Yuxi in him. I thought I was the only one 🤣

The last few episodes got me bawling my eyes, especially when Weiwei's mom died and when CC was in jail.
Ziyu is soo good in portraying those emotional scenes that I cried with him unconsciously. I do agree that the ending is kinda rush and short but what's more important is they get their happy ending.
Just wondering this one scene that I saw somewhere, the wedding scene, is it cut or it's just their imagination? 🤔

Yeah The Untamed & Mysterious Lotus Casebook. The fact that both don't give an extended closure after the reunion really ticks me off up till now 😭 at least on the other hand, WOH, we got to see the extended version.

Another TU & MLC coded ending. Just leave to our own imagination like usual. Why does the director like to torture us with this kind of ending.... 🙂
But I believe it's still a happy ending.

Despite of the negative comments here, I tried to give it a try and surprisingly it was good for the first 2 episodes. The pace was fast so it keep me hooked till the end. And it was hilarious too hahaha I literally laughed my heart out.

I put this on hold cuz I got tired of waiting for subs. And I'm glad that I picked it up again today & finished the remaining episodes. Superb acting from all the casts. And it got me crying for some reason. Those meaningful lines somehow touch my heart. 🤧
After all, perfection is not something that we can achieve alone.

But I'm scared how the ending would be knowing it's Chengyi that is known for heartbreaking character. Atp I've lost of hope for a HE 🤧

This one and Moonlight Mystique can be friend for the amount of deaths they both cause to the side characters. But I think LIP is much more sadder cuz the FL also dies in the end.
And the way it causes the mask group members to kill each other/to die for each other really shred my heart into pieces. 💔
The pain of being Hongye. How does it feel to be the only one alive when all your cherished ones die. It's even worse than death itself. That scene when he brings the masks left by the members to their old place literally stab my heart over and over again. 😭😭
Hongye, they can never made me hate you even tho you gonna be hated for how you would treat your son later.

I've been refraining myself from watching spoilers & reading the comments here. Until today, I just have the time to marathon the last 6 episodes. And what did it cost me? A pair of swollen eyes & difficulty to breath as a result of a silent intense crying 😭😭
It's been a while since I cried my eyes out after watching a drama. I already know that it will be a sad ending, but I never expect that it would be this sad with soo much deaths 🤧

The star-studded casts is such an eye candy and indeed a feast for my eyes.

The 1st 6 episodes are good, fast-paced, with excellent & beautiful cgi, the fighting scenes are soo well-made, the costumes are elegant & pretty. The hair styles suit all characters. So far I'm quite satisfied. Even though there are multiple popular faces, Leon Zhang really shines as the ML. He looks so demm hottt & ethereal for whatttt. I think I'm falling in love with him already 🥰
