Since I already know how this show would end idk if I should give it a go or not. I'm still stucked with Stand By Me and they said the ending is almost the same with this one.
Not the kind of ending that I'd like. 😞

But previously I still watch Scarlet Heart Ryeo even tho I know the bittersweet ending beforehand and it's still one of my fav drama till now.
The same goes with Hotel Del Luna. Both of them broke my heart but they're still my fav.

I see. Actually tbh I already watch too much spoilers like some scene cuts on youtube. That's why I don't feel like watching it at all. But tbh it was the same situation with LAR. I also read/watch spoilers beforehand and also some negative comments mentioning abt the amt of blood spitting by ML & immature FL. I was sceptical & doesn't have a slight interest for LAR. Surprisingly, when I decided to watch LAR, I instantly fall in love with the characters, esp Yu Sifeng. Well they said don't hate something too much or else you gonna end up loving it too much. 😂😂

I just recently finished watching Love & Redemption. And tho I'm in the middle of watching another new drama, my mind cannot moved on from xianxia genre.
I guess I've addicted to this kind of genre. 😌
So I was thinking should I watch this one later? Cuz I've seen so many good reviews and the rating is quite high too. Does it have the same angst like LAR? I wanted someone to help me get over from Yu Sifeng 😂😂

Yeahhh. Trueee. I fell in love with Baijue's character at first sight (hence my dp haha). And next Xukai becomes my top 2 fav actor. In fact, while watching ALP, I'm watching his old drama, The Legend at the same time. Hahaha. After ALP finished, I continue watching AMA & DOTSE. 🤭

I totally get what you mean by the character's different looks. But since I just finished LAR recently, everything are still fresh in my mind. That's why I could recognise them early.
If I have to list them out : Sifeng, Linglong, Minyan, Wu zhiqi, Liu Yihuan, Lord flying snake, Yanran, Tingnu,Sifeng's dad & Xuanji's dad.

I've make a count and there's a total of 10 LAR casts in this drama. What an occasion! But since their characters are totally different, I see them as a whole new person.
for e.g. Sifeng's dad becomes his enemy in this drama. 😂

I'm writing this while watching the 1st episode. And I choked myself when I saw Ling Long & Min Yan's first encounter but it looks weird cuz they're not a couple in here. Hahaha.

Hahaha ikr. Cuz from all the Chinese drama I've watched so far ( not so many tho cuz I just get into C dràma land this year), Yu Sifeng is the most heartbreaking male lead I've ever seen. It's not like I like seeing him being tortured in real, it's just that his acting of sufferings really gets me. I can feel it too deep in my bones. 😂😂
