because the roll out has been a mess. it first rolled out only in Korea with no subs. then to a few more countries…
One week delay? Youre talking about liscensing IP not a one week delay lmao. A good job would have been negotiating with platforms for consistency between seasons, so if one season is released on one platform the second would be the same. IF NOT THAT then at least working to migrate the first season. What are we to guess here? That they are bound by an unfair contract? But instead theyre some genious for releasing it a week later? I dont mind waiting for subs, i wait way longer for Japanese subs done by fans who actually care about the quality theyre workng with. Arthal Chronicles is cool but they are no where near amazing. Their use of IP is remarkably uncreative and doesnt dig into the lore deep enough when expanding to other mediums (the game launch is a remake of the story so far instead of an expansion of the world? The animated teasers are removed from the internet instead of useing them as a way to continue and expand the story? This is just sloppy use of IP).
Idk what youre trying to prove by convincing people that this show is marketed in a smart way but sloppy work is sloppy work. And thats okay. Korea doesnt often venture into the world of high fantasy, theyre new to having a ton of lore to work with. There are teams that have started off way sloppier and had terrible inconsistency issues. Im not mad at Arthdal Chronicles for having troubles getting this to run smoothly. The team is likely inexperienced in some ways and I can forgive that. I am annoyed at the way this is being framed though.
One minor…. problem I’m having. while they are clearly showing the incredible strength & abilities of the…
Yeah but he normally had trouble bringing that out in the first season as well. I remember it seemed like there was some trick to unleashing thay extra strenth and he didnt seem to know what it was, just accidentally unleashed it sometimes.
I mean the central story is a romantic melodrama ... but if you're still on episode 1 or 2, you could consider…
Honestly I'm wondering if you would enjoy Queen Seon Deok. It's an old one but its pretty good. Romance is very background noise, there are episodes dedicated to war (with some that were too long for me but probably the right length for you), and it's got a wickedly good political story line that's fairly unique to this time period.
what's the difference? bl features gay relationships between men. it's the g part of lgb. the audience may be…
BL is a subgenre of romance. There is no romance between the main characters so it generally wouldn't be considered BL. That should be the real reason why this isn't considered a BL but honestly the convo was too long for me to figure out if yall ever got to that conclusion 😅 have a nice day though
Takahashi Issei has a huge variety in characters. If you put them all on adart board and threw a dart at random, no two characters would be alike. He is the opposite of typecast!
Inoue Sora has a few characters that took m3 by surprise because he was so different. When he did Eternal Yesterday around the same time as that crossdressing drama i was so surprised because the shows were opposite in tone!
Kuroki Haru is usually a mild character so she might be a weird pick but somehow im always surprised to find recognize her. Hmm maybe its the kind of nuance she brings to her characters? Im not sure but each one stands out in unique ways.
