Well the trouble with ChatGPT is that it is a fancy version of word predicting software. I've seen it quote people for press releases with words that the quoted person never said. Its not that it doesnt know what sources are best, its that it doesnt understand content and doesnt aim for accuracy at all. Its goal is to say something that people thinks sounds good, which is reinforced by peoples continued use of the software.
