Hmm if pacing is the issue then maybe you should watch a 20 minute episode series instead. They tend to move faster. A story like this one will take its time and focus on character growth. Its a rewarding development, but if you don't have the patience for that, you might end up frustrated instead. Try watching something a little faster and when you get bored of the same tropes, watch something like this as a palette cleanser instead.
