Still hoping we'll get another season. If anyone reads the manga, do you think the crew is just waiting for more material to be published before they make a new season or should I give up now? T__T
A drama with really interesting & challenging themes - at least IMO for Japanese society. I am from Europe, so…
Hey! Finally finished this show ^_^ Thanks for asking for my thoughts! ^_^ I was surprised by how many people didn't like the ending. I thought it was really nice, especially how they focused on maintaining open communication in the future. Honestly, I really enjoyed this look at relationships that focused a lot on self-growth and getting a better understanding of oneself.
I also really liked Rika Adachi's performance. She was kind of adorable? I typically don't mind a "slutty" character and enjoyed watching her on her journey.
I was kind of laughing by the end because in the first episode this show looked like the typical jdrama set up where a seemingly promiscuous woman ends up quickly only having one real main interest despite the harem. But I was impressed, they actually took other guys seriously (from a narrative perspective) this time, even if it did end up going back to the original ML.
I really liked Narumi's friend. She was so cute and open minded. Her little conflicts were nice compliments to the main storyline.
Glad you enjoyed it too! Looking forward to chatting more dramas with u in the comments :3
I watched this movie in the wake of Kanojo ga Sore. While MFGM shows selfish central character, KGS dwells into…
Yeah agree about the reciprocal love and respect. It was def a fun watch anyway though, especially in a time when other stories like it were pretty rare.
If possible, I'd like to suggest Tonhon Chonlatee for the fascinating character dynamics (spoilers ahead). It's…
Thanks for this! I actually have a list for titles I haven't watched yet that fall under the criteria for this list! Will add it to that one ^_^ thanks for the suggestion (Kita-kun Share is on here actually by accident, will update properly when i get on the computer)
Where did you download episode 10 from? My file was corrupted so I had to skip it and go straight to the special.
Yeah! Im into titles that show alternative relationship styles, maybe that's what you mean? The one I'm looking forward to next is Kita-kun Share. Seems like a silly romcom. Though if you want a more serious vibe, I enjoyed 1122 fuufu. Currently finishing up Sannin Fufu (throuple/triad) which had a quirky vibe and My One Night Rule (woman trying out one night stands) which has a mature but silly vibe. Do you have any titles you recommend?

I can try! I dont speak Japanese and im waiting for the subs to come out. But if i understood correctly, Ima wanted to stay with Hisami so she agreed to marry him and become monogamous. Obviously Hisami was like helllll fucking yeah. He went to talk to the professor about it, who made him wonder if Ima was being honest about what she wanted or if she was wearing a mask to make him happy. She also go accepted into an art gallery or something? So she painted a self portrait. When Hisami saw her portrait was a mask in a wedding dress, he doubted her feelings for the marriage. Both of her other partners are already leaving the relationship already when theyre at the wedding. Hisami meets her at the end of the isle and he's supposed to say "I do" and instead he asks her about her feelings. Shes like of course im happy or something and he's like, im going to ask you yes or no questions, amswer honestly. If i underdtood correctly, theyre questions about her feelings for him? I didnt understand the last question, but that was what hit the nail on the coffin and led to him leaving. They dont get married and Hisami is going to delete the photo of them as a happy family when he runs into the other ex boyfriends and they decide to like go eat together or something, and I think that gesture makes him feel better about his experiemce with them so he doesn't delete it. Ima is on a date with a new guy when she sees Hisami going on a date with a woman and she's happy for him. He ends up in a bookstore and the book him picks up shows that Ima is dating new people (via the animals in the illustration) and he is happy for her too. At least that's what I understood. Really looking forward to rewatching the series when the subs come out thou :,)
Put Pearl Next Door on my not watched yet poly list to add later! Thanks for recommending it.
Edit: though now that i think about it i might have just misspelled it the first time... lol
