I didn't say this series was bad, just their kisses in this series.

The first one that come to mind is Love and Redemption but I don't know if that counts as recent. I usually don't mind bad kisses in Xian xia dramas but here it seemed like they tried to show intense love scenes between the leads but their lips just kind of hovered awkwardly so I would have preferred if they just skipped making those scenes.

The leads in this drama kissed like dead fish.

I think the editor really messed up with the love scene and there should have been a few more episodes but I still really enjoyed this series.

It seems to me that they rejected those positions because they wanted to be free to travel and see the world. I would also assume that he gave up his position in the security bureau.

I agree that this should have been the length of the story of minglan but because of the new rules in China this series can not be over 40 episodes.

Even the kdrama subreddit mentions that alot of kdramas are live-production vs pre-produced.

Don't Kdramas film their series as it airs? If so, they could have addressed some of the complaints that the viewers had.

Yeah, I don't think this is the most explicit NC scene in BL. I think the most explicit scene I've seen in a BL series is probably from the 2nd lead couple in making our days count.

Not really. The drama start off really good but then goes downhill.
