They are giving too much time to that one side character you adds nothing to the plot and they keep having the characters make stupid choices for no other reason then to extend the run time

I don't really have too much sympathy for Way. He spent years making Babe think he wasn't worthy to be loved or good enough for his own selfish reasons.
