I'm pretty sure there is a law now for Chinese dramas that says there needs to be a year apart between season releases. This started after the law that dramas can't exceed 40 episodes. Some dramas were getting around this by just making the later episodes a season 2 and airing them right after season 1 completed.

About what episode does this drama get good?

I wrote a comment that JJY should do more villian roles, then they replied talking about Denzel Washington out of nowhere and then blocked me. That account is weird.

People only really liked the main villian and nothing much else of this drama.

This is rated worse then the chicken nugget drama lol

This this probably the best short Chinese drama that I have seen. I can't wait until the rest is subbed and I can finish it.

Maybe you would like the long ballad. the ML from this drama is also the ML there.

If you want to try a xianxia drama then maybe Love and Redemption.

I haven't seen cheer up so I can't comment on that, but I have seen twinkling watermelon and think it is accurately rated.

Anything below a 8.0 on MDL is usually bad.
