This is a common practice though. Dilraba had done at least four projects with YangMi as a support character/2nd FL before she became a big star and they used to be in the same agency. All big agencies will often have several of their actors in the same project.

YangMi, Dilraba, Zhang Binbin and Vengo Gao etc all have several projects together. Same for Lulu's agency. There are plenty of other examples.

Chen Yao has done a few FL roles though and she is actually pretty good. Her Maiden Holmes with Zhang Linghe was quite popular when it aired and it was also ZLH's first drama. She was first billed there. His agency really pushed him hard so he's everywhere these days but her old agency did nothing for her and HYX also didn't air.

Anyway, I don't think she is the FL here and so far I am not excited for any of the rumored FL names and Kwanto has said these are all actually supporting roles. So maybe there really is no FL or they are tightly keeping it under wraps.
