Again, I want to write to show my appreciation to the ending.I really feel this is the most acceptable ending…
Honestly, I really like you take on things. It's so refreshing. Whatever you say here makes sense...the ending also made sense. It's just that we still wanted to see TTJ reunite with his family....and we know there is a chance it will happen...he is still there in the scale. Such an ending doesn't let you forget about the drama...doesn't let you move on....you just keep wondering.
as frustrating as it is with the big MU between MY and SG, it is also sort of understandable why they had an MU.…
Yes, atonement!! Oh, that younger sis who caused no less trouble than Tian Huan!!... Ok, maybe she was slightly better. But knowing how tragic the story is...I never watched the whole thing....just their romance.
as frustrating as it is with the big MU between MY and SG, it is also sort of understandable why they had an MU. It wasn't just lack of communication and trust but they just did not get to know each other before it all came crashing down. It wasn't only an arranged marriage, but it was also where the groom had never even seen the bride before and SJ only admired him from afar. As Bailu said, MY is like an idol. That's exactly what he was to SJ, someone she fangirled over and idolized. They did really fall for each other but never got the chance to know each other. Before the war, they just practiced archery and swords and dual cultivated once...and that's it. They knew nothing about each others thoughts. It was basically the beginning of a courtship. And later during their time at the forest cottage, it was like a dream life far removed from reality. If only they had a little chance before to talk and understand each maybe things would turn out differently.
I still don't fully understand what the yin yang bracelet did. Did it keep Susu alive while she was using the jade to cultivate the divine essence? Or did it help her get back to the future unscathed after the tower incident?
Now that I think about it again, I really appreciate the ending...and I think it is the most satisfying ending…
Very well said. I don't understand why some people say LSS is inconsistent. She was on a mission from the start and there were just way too many things at stake. She fell in love during the process and was very much conflicted at one point. Yet, there were too many factors that were not just in her control. Things were very hard for too. I'd say she is a really strong and applaudable character. A perfect match for TJJ!! And yes, imagine the pain she has to live with after ep 40 for years and years...π’

PS: I am saying years coz I am still hopeful...
