Sharing some good news guys. TTEOTM has broken some major records and is said to be the most successful Xianxia drama in the last five years. It broke the market share 33.2%, breaking its own previous record. It was hard for xianxia’s to break even 30% before and the previous record holder was LBFAD (26.5%).
It is also the number one drama for the month of April and it has been on top of the web drama rankings for the past three weeks.
Not to mention it has also broken 2.5 on datawin several times. Topped yunhe,maoyan, vlinkage etc and LSS and TJJ are top of character lists. Pian Ran was also on top three and other characters too are in top 10.

TTEOTM is also the news for boosting tourism in several places and bringing the Mogao caves in limelight again.
Along with these the costumes etc were also praised. Award winning costume designer Huang Wei who designed the costume for TTEOTM was also invited to some big event to speak about the costumes of TTEOTM.
LYX and BL gained many new fans.
It is also being said that others aren’t airing their big dramas coz they don’t want to compete with TTEOTM.
Lately some people have come here and worried that only International fans love the show and cfans are not. That is NOT TRUE. It is a huge success domestically. The db rating is indeed low but that’s just one thing. Db has become questionable for a while now and it is the data that truly matters. Don’t believe all the random stuff you read everywhere. People have also worried about the rumors. Antis have indeed tried to stir up lots of trouble but all of it is just baseless stuff. So don’t worry too much. Happy watching.
Just finished epi 35. Wow, it's perfect. The kiss was so sweet. Loved the convo they had with each other, both inside the bedroom and by the lake. I felt so happy seeing them just be happy and at peace. Just like everyone else I am also gonna pretend this is their HE...but I am still hopeful for an actual HE at the end of the drama.
The part when TTJ remembered all those people...he was seeing them all as happy and how he wished everything to be. I loved the scene with YQY and Pian Ran. Some people have said that they could have shown us TTJ missing PR. Well, he saw both of them together...so he does miss them...and that's how he hoped they would live. He even saw Sang jiu...I am just gonna pretend Ming Ye and Sang jiu are happily living somewhere.
Why do I feel Zhaoyou doesn't fully trust Di Mian? Anyone else felt that way?
I understand GYJW's confusion...trying to figure out his identity and all...but I just hope he won't do anything stupid under the influence of Mo Nv.
LYX acting in epi 34 omg! He needs to get all the awards for this! But please tell me he is not suffering in epi 35...last epi was so painful to watch.

Hmm...maybe they read it somewhere and thought it's true? That can happen too...but I am quite certain this is new rumor! I don't remember GJ's name ever coming up when they were actually casting for this and I also remember most of the drama GJ was rumored to star in. The production also said LYX was the first choice for this.
Before I watch epi 34 I want to rant about epi 33. Please bear with me. What a badly edited episode omg. I mean who edited this epi and why? It was rushed but still making sense initially until it just stopped making sense. Ok so they were the fighting the demon and the demon outsmarted them. They had nightmares but it was sooo confusing as to who was having which nightmare. And they used the DG scenes from epi 1 and merged the with the earlier CJM fight scenes. Even if I don’t speak mandarin I could still see the dialogues didn’t match with what DG was actually saying.
There was also some continuity issue with LSS costumes. Youku received complaints from cfans about the editing of ep 26 ( or was it 27?) and promised they would work on it, but they still went on to air such a poorly edited epi. Also, why is Mo Nv suddenly pretending to be silk workshop owner? I didn’t understand at all. Probably coz the epi is such a mess.
The reduction of episodes is finally starting to show in the immortal arc. I think the most number of epis got cut from here. This episode's plot should been the plot of 2-3 epis but got condensed into one. So far this drama has been perfect for me, until this epi which is far from perfect. I am so upset. I hate how this drama got shortchanged because of this new 40 epi rule. Why does TTEOTM and TTEOTM fans have to suffer the consequences when this was filmed before this rule was made?
