i have this wild theory that Meguchi might have witnessed an accident or something, and this girl whose name she…
Gotta admit, watching the second episode, and with that bloody hand flash, I too started to think there's some Fight Club sort of thing going on with this drama.
I'm really enjoying this so far! I don't watch anime or read manga, so I'm really glad they made a live-action out of this. Production quality is good and so is the acting! Looking forward to next week's episode!
Japanese subs for episode 6 became available yesterday (Monday), the same day of the week the Japanese subs for episode 5 became available last week. Starting to finally see some consistency. I wonder if Netflix only start translating once they get the Japanese subs...
I remember the exact date I watched this movie. The reason is that it has a scene in which Tokyo suffers a devastating earthquake and then after finishing the movie, I turned on the TV only to see the news of the devastating 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
I believe we have at least two factors contributing to this nonsense. First, a lack of coordination between Netflix…
I have a premium account. I can play episode 6 and 7, but they have no subtitles in any language. Episode 5 got Japanese subtitles on Monday and English subtitles yesterday.
I just don't understand why they can't do what they're doing with AARO for example. That one is also running 2 episodes behind the broadcast schedule, but they're releasing it consistently on Saturdays with English subtitles!
it’s their first time doing this (airing a j-drama on Netflix while airing) let’s be indulgent 🥲🥹
At this rate, I expect episode 5 subtitles to be made available 2 weeks from now. At least they can put the Japanese CC, so it's easier for me to watch the untranslated episode!

That's not true though. The subtitles for episode 1 became available on Monday 28th October. For episode 2 on Wednesday 30th October. For episode 3 on Thursday 7th November, and for episode 4 became available today. The gap has been increasing with each episode: from 2, to 8, to 10 days.

Nah, they're doing it with at least 4 other dramas right now: Light of my Lion, AARO, Okura, and Talentless Takano. The latter 3 are airing on a delayed schedule on Netflix, but After School Doctor is the only drama of the 5 that has untranslated episodes available on Netflix and no clear release schedule. The other 4 dramas all get new episodes every Saturday.
I dont get it, 3 episodes are showing on my netflix but I am only able to play the first ep 🙁is Netflix like…
It seems like the first 3 episodes are being added as they're being translated into English. The show first appeared on Monday, then episode 2 became playable Wednesday evening.
The ending was a bit disappointing, to be honest. Also, in the last episode the clerk who's on her phone in the shop Yamakazu applies for work is Mayu which suggests that at this point he's already in Yuksul's world.
