Or, what's more likely, since all magical bs is being debunked here, she simply forgot because of shock. Suppressed…
Which is exactly why I said "I have a feeling". It's an absolutely personal opinion and not at all claiming to rely on any source material to prove authenticity whatsoever.

Yeah they do not exist in reality. Well it's also not possible for a person to fly but pei yi does..because..martial arts..there are so many things out there which do not exist in reality.

Ofc the shock aspect is possible but I'm not talking about any magical aspect..since we've already seen the various types of poisons the master had, it wouldn't be any surprise if he did that right?
I have a feeling that peiyi's master fed her a type of drug which could suppress her memory unless triggered, in order to protect her. They said everyone was waiting to hear what the little kid saw that night but she didn't remember anything at all. A kid wouldn't know what to reveal and what to not reveal to protect oneself in the palace, so it could very much be an act of protection by Du shifu
That moment while examining the SOS flowers and Yu Wanyin asked the young Crown Prince questions to see if he…
True that..the same actor playing both is rather confusing..they don't even have many scenes with the son, it gets all the more confusing. By the time you decide if he's the sane one, the kid is no longer on screen.
The new Geum Ho is so adorableðŸ˜..it broke my heart when eun ho was so rude to her...she looked so innocent, 😠She's too innocent to be a fox🤣ðŸ˜
Great drama.. Just that... Mr. Xie (lyman boss) and Mr.Pei (ml's stepdad) looked exactly the same to me for some reason..I was super confused for many parts due to thisðŸ˜ðŸ˜..
Ps: this is a personal issue, the drama is awesome
Not really, there's some disagreement but at that time they are so busy with work that you can't tell if they are not able to talk (due to workload) or they don't want to talk. It spans at most a day or two and then they're good.
In the beginning cheng yao is an innocent girl who has just stepped out of college and stuck in a wrong place (firm). She aspires to be a good lawyer but her seniors do not groom her right, instead she is pushed into stuff which does not even align with the profession. I love how she snaps out of it once she overhears Qian Heng's conversation in the restaurant and misunderstands it.."I am a lawyer and I do not need to beg clients, my skills will get me where I want to". When she encounters Qian Heng, she is naive and does not take a stand for herself ( she's new to the profession and wants to make a name for herself while avoiding conflict). Qian Heng really overdoes it . The strictness in the office is good and she really grows due to it and her own efforts but treating her like a human sleeping pill is not very appropriate. As the episodes progress, we see how Cheng Yao learns the realities of law and keeps getting better. She even develops skills to put her emotions and personal prejudices aside while dealing with clients.
It is good to see her taking a stand for herself before Qian Heng who she feels was underestimating her.
The ML is not some green flag or red flag in the sense of flags. He is not very likeable but improves later, the actor did a great job at that. Cheng Yao is likeable throughout. The story is full of comedy for the most of it but also has these bits of law and justice which I liked very much. I feel the rating should be higher.
