i was actually loving the final episode, i thought it felt kind of rushed but i enjoyed the fairytale-esque happy ending for our lovely mhok and day.
until the last bit.
for a show who spent so much of its storyline on the fact that day's blindness wasn't something that could affect his relationship with mhok, i think how the eye transplant was handled was super disappointing. implying that his life is perfect now because he can see, and that his entire story of self-acceptance is behind him, is a really wrong message to make, it doesn't change how much i loved this show, and how special mhokday are to me, but this left a sour taste in my mouth.
chalam’s love interest kind of felt like she was added in at the last minute so he wouldn’t look lonely next to sky&kongkhwan LOL otherwise this was a good final episode
there are two queer supporting characters (cellphone and phet) that are in a relationship, and they are not villified whatsoever. i'd suggest watching the show before making a comment lol
he clearly seems to find soga charming and interesting, notably he seems to love his smile and laugh.
sakae doesn't need a reason, he just... likes him.
until the last bit.
