through the majority of the film it's not, then 15min til the end writers woke up and thought 'yeah let's make…
if you see it that way it's fine, but there's literally a montage of them playing the piano together and giggling lol it's just childish love...
idk if you watched the unoffical version of the film but the official subs outwardly state that tawanhope are boyfriends, and started dating in high school (the part of the film we do not see). poorly constructed? sure it's confusing if you don't know that there's supposed to be drama tied to the movie, but if you know that detail i think it makes more sense? lastly, it was not made for large audiences. my tempo was kind of a special gift to proxie fans, and made to please the people who enjoy seeing them interact together, and not really anything more.
just to clarify everyone's confusion in the comments:
1. the jump from high school to the competition will be filled by a drama tie-in (supposed to release this year), where they'll explain everything that happened between that time in all of the three boys's lives. this isn't mentioned anywhere on this page for some reason lol but it has been confirmed we're just waiting on an official release date.
2. yes, this is bl, and was marketed as such. the limited skinship can mostly be explained by the fact all main actors are idols (from the group PROXIE btw), and that they were all 16-17 at the time of filming and would've been uncomfortable by it.
this movie was a strange marketing choice for sure, considering how the drama should've definitely be released first, but knowing the context behind the massive piece of plot missing it makes a little more sense lol.
Everything else is goodEnjoying it so far But Why does the series look so dull in terms of colors đđđLike…
i think itâs a creative decision. colour grading is really important in terms of creating a dramaâs atmosphere, so whoever was in charge probably felt it was fitting with the vibe of the drama.
Nah, I think the end game is Green-Maitoh and Shogun-Maitee
that could be right, but seeing how maitoh rejected green pretty brutally, and that shogun seems to have absolutely no interest in maitee, i'd be pretty surprised
