sometimes the simplicity is the best.
I’m a sucker for country-side rom-coms so bare with me. I really liked the sassiness of the male lead and the determined & emotional female lead combo (plus the doggo:D).Sure it wasn’t the most epic story ever, but I love whenever people feel like something is too much they resort to the most simplest things such as nature, themselves and peace. Alsoooo I really loved the side characters as well, maybe would’ve loved 16 episodes situation more, but it is what it is.
Anyways I really enjoyed the chemistry between different characters and as you already know the country-side situation;)

The chemistry was chemistrying and the second lead was NOT annoying at all.
Imagine the world where the main couple's chemistry is out of this world, the second male lead is NOT annoying and the drama has both comedy and thrilling moments - this all is possible if you watch "Head over heels". Yes, it's that easy. It's such a good drama, the storyline was nice and character developments were amazing. I felt so sad about the soul's story when it all came crashing down, but I'm so glad the soul got to hug the girl for the first and the last time. I'm really glad I watched the show. Was this review helpful to you?
such an addictive show
I'd say that Dear X was THE kdrama of 2025. It was such a rollercoaster. The acting? Impeccable.
The storyline? Masterpiece.
The suspense? Through the roof.
Hotel? Trivago.
Anyways, the actors, especially Kim You-Jung, was insane for this work. I've seen her in couple of her other dramas but this one? Insanity. I truly loved how they showed the different psychopathic and sociopathic traits in Baek Ah-Jin. Even the show kind of manipulated the viewer's POV. I think the show was so well-built and every loose end was tied into a knot. Definitely will watch it again, was so worth watching. 10/10.

i watched it multiple years later, here’s my opinion
There are very few korean shows I’ve watched right after they’ve been released and there’s always a small chance that I’ll watch it it if the show blows up. I’ve been disappointed before with those kinds of shows, so I stayed away from “The glory”.So here’s my totally honest opinion on the show now when it isn’t the topic of most convos.
I actually really liked it, I can understand why it was so popular back then. The storyline was well-built and the actors and actresses did such a good job with their characters. And it was quite rewarding to watch, everyone got their own karma and those who suffered could breathe again after feeling like they were drowning and no one cared.
It was one strong revenge drama, although the ending was not left all the way open but they didn’t conclude the series too punctually either, it was an interesting take definitely.

jang ki-yong THE DEVOUERER. half office drama?
I started this series because I just recently watched "My roommate is a Gumiho" and I really liked Jang Ki-Yong's chemistry and acting. I had to pause the series multiple times because it was very "AAAAAAA" moment. I needed to take a breather after seeing what a first episode it had, fiery and zero problems basically. From there on the story had multiple different twists, which were okay in my opinion, cliches for sure, but still wasn't too bad.The ending was a bit questionable and rushed though, I wish they made 2 more episodes instead leaving us with 14 episodes and the last one fast forwards couple of years.
The chemistry was okay, not their best, but it was there. Anyways hoping for Jang Ki-Yong and Ahn Eun-Jin to have another leading role in another kdrama so they could show the world their full potential:)

the life of Korean adults who work like crazy and relieve stress through drinking.
Yes, it's that simple, but also sometimes simplicity is what makes us happy. This show is bursting with true friendships and their own hardships. But how do we sail this stormy sea called life? Of course with someone who's on our team and who you can rely on. That's all, that's life and that is this show. Easy watch but will be memorable. Was this review helpful to you?
queen for real
I love a good revenge drama especially if it has some comedy in it. The trio worked so nicely and I loved their acting work. I loved the way the episodes went by, you'll see the situation where they're in at the moment, how everything works out, then goes south and then it was all their plan all along, finally you see how they worked out the plan and stuff. It was fresh. Was this review helpful to you?
Working for a fried chicken place is not for the weak. Especially if you work for The God.
No, but for real. It's not as easy as you'd think it would be. Especially if your boss is Han Suk-Kyu.Also fun fact, the word 'Shin' in Korean could mean many different things but I think the most fitting is 'God'.
In this drama you will get action, revenge and tons of comedy. It was so easy to watch this drama, it went by so quick.
I personally think it was one of the most underrated kdramas of 2025.
I don't usually say this but even the OST was a banger, I even added some of the songs to my playlists on Spotify.

It was quite fun actually, easy to follow
I'd start out by saying that I was looking for a fun korean show that didn't have too much suspense and that would've been more like friendship oriented with a little romance on the side. I agree with others that it wasn't the best show I have seen in my life but honestly? It wasn't the worst either. This show is very including - plus size girl's love life; wlw & mlm relationships; sextoys being taboo and also disability. Sure, the storyline wasn't the best, but I felt good during the whole series and not once was I uncomfortable. Also being basically the same age as the characters I did relate to many things happening to them. So I'd actually recommend if you're looking for something fun and something you can giggle about and maybeee just maybeee kick your feet;)Was this review helpful to you?
i liked it (also YOUNGJAE mentioned!!!)
Was it messy? Sure, it was. But imo the acting and chemistry was what saved this kdrama for me. And not to mention the fact that even if the storyline was a bit questionable at some points the vibes were still there. The ending made me sad but at the same time hopeful? It was quite a lot, but it was meaningful to Seul-gi and Je-i, a new start even. Also it was a big thing for Hye-ri and Soo-bin to share a kiss even if it might've not been real. For 2 girls to kiss on TV is a pretty huge step.
Anywayssss YOUNJAEEEEEE I quite literally was surprised when I saw him on this show, he did so good as well! This role might've not been easy to act out. Very proud of him:)

it was okay, but imo a bit overhyped?
The storyline was quite okay, I kind of like the supernatural stuff, so a demon was a nice choice. The chemistry was definitely there and the leads were leading. Maybe it's my fault that I gave a rather lower rating because I did not finish this kdrama in a one watch, I had like uhhh 6 months between 14 episodes and the last 2 episodes. So maybe if I watched this is one go it would've hit harder. One problem I had with this drama was that it was kind of predictable?
Anyways it was still fun and the side characters were fun af as well.

i have the need to rewatch the whole show all over again.
I recently started watching Gumiho related Korean dramas, because how interesting the story is. First my roommate is a Gumiho and now the Tale of the Nine-Tailed. Safe to say I'm amazed and happy that the writers and directors embrace their culture. This show truly is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. The acting, character developments, plot twists and so on are impeccable. Cast was well chosen and the storyline was messing with my head but I'm happy with this type of messing.
The only thing that I am not so happy about is the way they played out the ending, it had so many different possibilities.
BUT I started the so-called second season and I'm glad to see that one character there if you know you know.
Honestly I watched the show more for the brothers chemistry than the romantic side of it, but I still, loved every single relationship portrayed in there.
don't read from now on if you don't want any spoilers!!!!

!
i bawled like a little baby when i saw Lee Rang sacrificing himself for his brother and everyone around him. it felt so unfair but beautiful to see him like that. character development to the max. also in the "second" season, i'm so happy to see him again, and with his brother and of course having someone other than Lee Yeon to protect. (i haven't completed it yet, but i will today).

interesting
I'd say that it was quite more enjoyable than I thought at first. Interesting plot, quite nice actors and cool chemistries between different characters. Also liked the character developments in this show, many learned something from the situations and started to better themselves, which was nice to see.Was this review helpful to you?
was a bit dragged out
Personally think that the story was a bit dragged out, the characters weren't that ideal BUT gave me the energy of 'Adult trainee" and "LOVE.exe". So it wasn't that bad at all. I still kinda like the high school/ college type of dramas so sue me:(I think the male lead (the one who got the girl finally lol) has mad potential as an actor. That being said he played a small role in "Cashero" and the other male lead has couple of good dramas as well.

Friends, good food, life problems with a romance on the side.
I honestly enjoyed the show. It showcased how it's never too late to make friends - even in adulthood. This story is about friendships, hardships and being there for each other even when your own life is a big mess. I watched it in autumn, and I'm glad I did, my heart is full thanks to this drama. The only saddening thing is that I wish we had more "main couple's" romance on the screen than it happening behind the viewer's back.
