i liked it (also YOUNGJAE mentioned!!!)
Was it messy? Sure, it was. But imo the acting and chemistry was what saved this kdrama for me. And not to mention the fact that even if the storyline was a bit questionable at some points the vibes were still there. The ending made me sad but at the same time hopeful? It was quite a lot, but it was meaningful to Seul-gi and Je-i, a new start even. Also it was a big thing for Hye-ri and Soo-bin to share a kiss even if it might've not been real. For 2 girls to kiss on TV is a pretty huge step.
Anywayssss YOUNJAEEEEEE I quite literally was surprised when I saw him on this show, he did so good as well! This role might've not been easy to act out. Very proud of him:)

it was okay, but imo a bit overhyped?
The storyline was quite okay, I kind of like the supernatural stuff, so a demon was a nice choice. The chemistry was definitely there and the leads were leading. Maybe it's my fault that I gave a rather lower rating because I did not finish this kdrama in a one watch, I had like uhhh 6 months between 14 episodes and the last 2 episodes. So maybe if I watched this is one go it would've hit harder. One problem I had with this drama was that it was kind of predictable?
Anyways it was still fun and the side characters were fun af as well.

i have the need to rewatch the whole show all over again.
I recently started watching Gumiho related Korean dramas, because how interesting the story is. First my roommate is a Gumiho and now the Tale of the Nine-Tailed. Safe to say I'm amazed and happy that the writers and directors embrace their culture. This show truly is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. The acting, character developments, plot twists and so on are impeccable. Cast was well chosen and the storyline was messing with my head but I'm happy with this type of messing.
The only thing that I am not so happy about is the way they played out the ending, it had so many different possibilities.
BUT I started the so-called second season and I'm glad to see that one character there if you know you know.
Honestly I watched the show more for the brothers chemistry than the romantic side of it, but I still, loved every single relationship portrayed in there.
don't read from now on if you don't want any spoilers!!!!

i bawled like a little baby when i saw Lee Rang sacrificing himself for his brother and everyone around him. it felt so unfair but beautiful to see him like that. character development to the max. also in the "second" season, i'm so happy to see him again, and with his brother and of course having someone other than Lee Yeon to protect. (i haven't completed it yet, but i will today).

interesting
I'd say that it was quite more enjoyable than I thought at first. Interesting plot, quite nice actors and cool chemistries between different characters. Also liked the character developments in this show, many learned something from the situations and started to better themselves, which was nice to see.Was this review helpful to you?
was a bit dragged out
Personally think that the story was a bit dragged out, the characters weren't that ideal BUT gave me the energy of 'Adult trainee" and "LOVE.exe". So it wasn't that bad at all. I still kinda like the high school/ college type of dramas so sue me:(I think the male lead (the one who got the girl finally lol) has mad potential as an actor. That being said he played a small role in "Cashero" and the other male lead has couple of good dramas as well.

Solid comedy
This show was full of comedy, but still didn't fail to bring in the hardships of different people. I respect a show where you can laugh and which uplifts your mood. Also it does remind me of Welcome to Waikiki a little bit as well. Definitely would watch it again but this time with more friends. The small portion of romance was fulfilling as well. Was this review helpful to you?
Could've had more romance oriented situation.
The show had a unique approach to the main topic - insurance. I love such niche dramas where you get an insight of different fields of work, school etc. Also I quite enjoy Lee Dong-Wook's acting (as one does). In addition, it was a slow burn romance, but the romance was cut off before it could get to it's full potential (read: the show ended too early).

Character developments
I think the most fitting words to describe this drama are "character developments". I grew to like many of the characters, even the loser ahh ex boyfriend. The storyline was a bit messy, but nothing too bad imo. I wished they didn't rush the ending though. Also the chemistry between the female and male lead was nice.

It's never too late to make friends, our differences is what makes us "us".
We need to find ourselves among others. Our encouragement means a lot to other people and so does our own stories. This show really showed us how beautiful it is to be different or be yourself, how the right people will support you and help you grow, not hold you back. I think it's really important, especially nowadays. I can't even describe how sad and lonely it is if you have no one rooting for you or having your back. These kinds of feelings I just described, you'll feel and see from this drama. I hope you truly do what you want to and I hope you try out doing many different things. It's okay if you don't know what you like or dislike. You won't figure it out unless you try.Was this review helpful to you?
I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but it was quite cool.
I like thriller/crime/revenge dramas. It wasn't too good but I think I'd give it enough credit. Good cast, plottwists were quite unexpected ones and I've liked the main actress' work before and this drama is not an exception. Although I agree that the storyline could've been better. For me personally the ending of the last episode could've been more romance oriented but it is what it is.Was this review helpful to you?
I LOVE THE ACTORS SM
This concept is quite refreshing for a Korean show, the romance was romancing and the chemistry between actors was on FIRE. Also I loved seeing Kim Seon-Ho in a romcom for the first time in such a long time. I want to put the female lead in mi pocket, because she was so adorable.I was so surprised to see the Do Ra-Mi situation, but I think this was very much needed with Idol I episodes releasing at the same time and an actually nice second male lead once again.
Will be rewatching:)

small town kdrama!!!!
I finished this show today and I have to say, that although it was hyped up on the internet, I mean Ahn Hyo-Seop being the male lead and all the references to his other works, I enjoyed it. It was refreshing and even if I wished it had more depth and more details, it was still enjoyable. A small town kdrama about community and trying to get better mentally and physically. Definitely a show to watch when feeling down or want to escape the real life situation!IF you enjoyed "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha", "When the weather is nice", "Once upon a small town" and/or "Brewing love" you're going to like this as well!!!!

if you can’t tell that it’s fake, is it really fake?
This story has some insane plottwists and quite literally lives up to it’s name. I’d say it has kind of similar vibe to an other kdrama called “The celebrity” so if you liked that one, I suggest watching this show as well. The storytelling was quite clear in the end and everything made sense, even the ending if you really think about it. The pattern continues, whether someone likes it or not. Maybe it’s a bit early to say but I personally think that this drama might be one of THE dramas of 2026 and it’s only February, that’s how much I enjoyed it:)Was this review helpful to you?
funny concept, good actors and many plottwists
This show was insanely good, the storyline made so much sense and the actors were doing one hell of a job with these characters. It was quite funny and the relationships between the characters were cool to analyse.
I inhaled the whole show so quickly and I think I can't really compare any other show I've seen to this drama! So I personally think it was unique. Plus I was happy to see less popular actors in this show:)

tell me the facts, i'll learn. tell me the truth, i'll believe. tell me a story?
it will live in my heart forever.I'm speechless. Seeing Choi Hyun-Wook in this show was an experience on it's own, his way of portraying the character was just WOAH.
The story was amazingly written, I'm not going to spoil, but the plottwists and the way this show was built up felt very rewarding and mind-blowing.
Not even once did I think that it was boring or anything, like the professor kept sinking more and more into the story, I found myself inhaling the drama. I think this won't leave my mind for a very long time, last time I felt like this was when I watched "Parasite" or "The frog" and trust me, I ain't complaining.
Choi Hyun-Wook was THE choice for this role and I'm very glad we got to see such a talented actor playing a quite different character from his usual dramas!!
Anyways..
To be continued...
