what happened in the ending?
it's more like platonic love than consummated romance which I think ties with the themes of love and how one can interpret it in many ways

A few things:1. I see people complaining it should have been 16 episodes. Many of these episodes were 75-90 minutes…
well said! I really liked how they developed platonic love here, I think it's a lost theme in dramas and it tied really well with the idea of "showing the different shapes and ways of love" that being said some of the secondary plots felt slightly underdeveloped and overall it lacked closure there so I'd give it a 7/7.5 too!

Title Dear Hongrang Spoiler
And the way SML knows ML is not her brother and hides the fact cas he don't want em to get together...... Even…
definitely this would've been so much better without it, when they reveal all the stuff it's too late for me to feel ok about it lol

amazing, a slow burn but the script is so strong it's really worth it.

Person Yeo Jin Goo
he is in military service
he's not, he's in college right now, he's mostly doing fanmeetings and he had a part in a movie called hijacking 1971

I am also curious. I think I have missed his phenomenal acting.
seriously I miss seeing him on scree too, but I think he's finishing college and maybe that's why he's not joining as many projects 😔

It's not the director who demanded nudity, it's Studio Dragon. Boycott them instead.
if the director agreed to it he's just as guilty in my opinion.

I haven't finished this yet I have an episode left but from the very start I really couldn't get into the show,…
I watched the last episode and when I say nosedive I think it's not even enough of to describe how bad that last part was, unnecessary? absolutely, did it even aid the plot or the relationship in the story? not, just made the entire thing more cringe and insensitive at the end, I really wish they put more care and attention to the details of this drama instead because the chemistry the actors had was SO GREAT to begin with, such a waste of good acting.....

I haven't finished this yet I have an episode left but from the very start I really couldn't get into the show, everything feels so sparse and yet convoluted and there were so many details that were overlooked and they made the story chaotic and more messy as it progressed, the relationship always felt a little strange in the beginning but then I guess it came to a point where it was more grounded as the story kept going and then again took a nose dive I guess I can understand from the perspective of watching something that is airing as it goes, unveiling the mystery and feeling the suspense but honestly I couldn't even feel that engaged or empathize as much for the characters or anything lol

this is a novel adaptation
yeah I'm aware they do, I have worked with a production company.... I personally liked the production for this, from the brutalist aesthetic and the icy sceneries, the music was also really nice, I guess to each their own!

He witnessed her walk in traffic with the aim of ending her life and the baby.. He too was shocked.. definitely…
yes and she also binded her belly, she clearly didn't like pregnancy and that's why she said she didn't have maternal instincts the point is they were both in the wrong

i think the disconnect and criticism we're seeing for this drama is mostly the result of kdrama fans ignoring…
I thought the same thing, from the beginning you really feel like you're reading a novel and it's mysterious, suspenseful, somber, the characters don't strive to be perfect, they're just flawed and broken . .I thought it was an interesting and creative idea, the brutalist aesthetics help with that and the cold landscapes to, maybe in a film format it could have been better but honestly wasn't that bad, I just believe people are not used to it

Is this worth watching just for Tae goo? I hate fluffy shit but he's my top Korean actor.
there's a lot of romance and comedy in it, but I loved Taegoo here so much, this role was made for him

I’ve never seen a male lead that was a worse father.
seriously, some of these characters just never evolved, like grandpa was never acknowledged either 🫠
