It's not only in drama. It happens in real world too. I'm guilty of that sometimes. That's why most of the time I prefer text over phone call. Sometimes it is hard to digest the questions, no matter how simple the question is.

It's not totally out of norm tho. Some folks are really like that. Those who are on the extreme side. It's not common. In fact it's super rare. However, it does exist.

I don't think any single viewer like her. Doesn't matter if you are of Western or Eastern descendent. Heck, I bet even all mother through out the world will hate her.

As annoying the FL mother is, can you imagine this character is quite common? It such a pity for those who have this kind of parents who feel entitled for their children. Constantly guilt tripping the children just because they give birth and raise them.
I guess Asian teaching of being filial to parents is a bit of double edge sword. It makes some of the children cannot have proper boundaries.
It will always be not enough no matter how much good deeds the children have done for them.

WHY THE HECK THE RATING IS SO LOW?!
I just encountered and watched this drama up to eps 18. I was super shocked when I came here. 7.8 rating? Are you kidding me? This drama could easily got 8.5 rating.

This drama got a quite balance tension. The conflicts are not overbearing. But not too little. The ML is cold-blooded, but not unreasonable. He still have empathetic and level-headed. The FL is a bit indecisive in the beginning, but super relatable and reasonable. The mother is annoying, but understandable.

I hope people will take a shot and watch this drama. It's a fortunate for me to watch the drama before see the rating here.

Is that a norm in China? How long does filming for a project last usually? I thought it would last around 5-6 months for a drama, no? Did they film multiple drama at the same time?

I wonder how she can consistently have more than 2 projects every year. Does she rest at all?

She has came a long way as an actress. She was my favourite cast back in Heart Signal S1. Glad she is doing great now. Hope you the best SJH

Anything above 8 is a safe bet to watch in my opinion. Depends on your preference, you might like or not like it. The theme of the drama is time-travel mystery serial killer with a bit of comedy here and there. Not sure if there would be any romance or not.
