didn’t his mom die way before the events of this show?
i could be wrong obviously but that ominous clip at the end hinted to me that he made it out alive (bro is powerful as hell im sure he figured out a way) and is keeping it low and monitoring taejoong for revenge
this show was very entertaining and ji changwook ate as usual. The relationship between the dad and daughter was the real highlight for me as well, without it it all would’ve felt a bit more shallow. The beginning and prison arc was truly the best and most engaging part of the series, full of action and kept you on the edge of your seat.
However, the villains felt almost cartoonishly evil (not just yohan but all the braindead people in power… but hey thats kdrama) and the major plots just resolved with no-brainer fighting lol it broke the immersion a bit. The ending felt a little rushed and I found myself getting bored from all the setting up for the final act. but overall a great watch and amazing acting!
I can sense the are hinting at another season but i’m not sure it needs one really. Though it would be cool to see them really flesh out the villain backstories unlike here, i could tell they left a lot of things unanswered. and hey, maybe our ml & fl could be shaken from their peaceful lives later to bring us absolute cinema again ✋😼🤚
he only cared abt himself anyway. He was not mentally stable. He wanted to marry her just so he could continue being…
yep exactly.. might get hate for this but ahjin just delayed something that probably would’ve ended up happening anyway 😭 (tho she was definitely the finishing blow lmao).
Their relationship didn’t feel very deep either, just surface-level sunshines and rainbows. but true love is loving and fighting together through the ugly times (which i doubt they did as they only dated for a short time)… in gang was definitely too unstable for marriage, it looked like he was just thinking about the happy sides of it like having cute kids, a domestic life etc without even talking to ahjin about what she wants 🙂↕️ men…
makes sense though. even when grandma learned that ahjin was lying she decided to forgive her and still kept her…
fr!!! if ahjin had had a grandma or adult figure like that from childhood, im sure she would be a different person and not so pessimistic and cynical about people
in gang wanting to propose to her ON her birthday and after dating for only one year… like ignoring the fact that ahjin had her secret agenda and planned to break up from the beginning, that’s such a selfish thing to do considering she’s a rising star 😭
is hwang in yeop's charvayer there till ep 12? or will his arc end soon -- I know its gonna end bad for him so…
he most likely will not be there up until ep 12 (unless its like a flashback or something), i suspect his arc will finish next week or the week after at latest, as there are still more arcs to go through in the story.
“murder is not justifiable blah blah” that man was making child p0rn out of her??? i agree that innocent people…
amen… she’s not a psychopath that does “bad” things out of enjoyment but only to escape from her hellish life and rise up the ladder 😭 and the men in this series are the BIGGEST simps for her so they share the guilt. The way people make her only seem like a devil when she’s just looking out for her best interests in the sociopathic ways she was born and brought up with. The real devils are the adults and society around her that failed her
Yeah i understand and agree with all your opinions! I was being a bit jokey. ofc it’s normal to not condone her behaviour. I just love her completely self-interested and selfish personality, which makes a lot of sense due to her awful upbringing and sociopathic nature.
As someone who read the webtoon, i just couldn’t help but root for all her rights and wrongs 😅
