now that kdramas are coming into the bl scene, the character and story-building is really stepping up. Of course there are some amazing thai BL (itsay is a masterpiece) but there’s definitely a sense of quantity over quality. We al know k-drama standards, from filmography to storytelling and dimensional characters. The only thing that’s holding this all back is the screen time k-bls have compared to normal kdramas. But ! It is safe to say that it’s improving! Overall, I’m very happy with how this series is going right now and hopefully it’ll end up as a favourite of mine ;)
whenever i finish a show i rarely have any intent on rewatching but with itsay.... i have to hold myself back from rewatching and not thinking about it all the time. The feelings of heartache and butterflies are the exact same, even more than the first time you watch - the story is simple yet so captivating and well-crafted that it stays in my mind rent free... itsay superior wbk
Is it just me who seriously doesn't understand why the rating on MDL is 8.5 when almost all the reviews and statistics are pointing to it being at a 9 or above? Like, what did MDL do with the rating system to lower this masterpiece's score?
