this was the most engaging drama iv watched in a long while !! KYJ absolutely killed it and made me feel everything FL was going through with that acting…
guys if you are hesitating on watching, i recommend JUST WATCH!! it will leave you on the edge of your seat and thinking deeply about the characters
Reasons to why junseo is not the “innocent”good guy but a POS❗️:
- capability to kill ahjin but not ahjin’s POS dad?? & literally said “i love you” before it, its so clear he only cared about his feelings in the end and never truly understood ahjin and her desire to live
- terrible writer, could only monetise from ahjin’s trauma and suffering, no originality
- even forces said script on ahjin, basically making her relive & act out her trauma
- pretends to hold a moral higher ground but sat back and did nothing meaningful to stop or redirect her, and even helped her in crime before (that makes you an accomplice 🤷♀️)
- supposedly hates his mom for what she did to ahjin but gives that woman a kidney and doesn’t keep her away from ahjin properly
- makes jaeoh’s final wishes be in vain by trying to hurt the one thing he died to protect like ik jaeoh beating his ass in the afterlife
- the ‘exposing’ documentary he made was SO one-sided, just focusing on her retaliations against the MANY perpetrators and abusers in her life (tho ig it’s accurate to how s.k media would scrutinise a woman to death..)
- in said documentary, tries to portray her as a villain for being a sociopath when its a real medical condition and she rarely meddled with innocent people unless she was literally on death’s door (like with her father). enforcing things like empathy on someone who physically doesn’t have the capacity to understand it is cruel and demonising. and she did have positive feelings to people like the grandma and jaeoh whom she could truly be vulnerable with (and not be taken advantage of over)
- literally just obsessed with ahjin to an ill extent with a saviour complex. his selfish one-sided love to ahjin wanted to control her and it lead to his own demise
- In the end he was no different to her husband who also wanted ahjin to be completely reliant on him until she broke or was broken 🙇♀️
yep yep yep, i've become disappointed with him towards the end.
like at least in the webtoon, although his character was still kinda useless, his actions still made some sense but the writers threw that all out of the window with this ending
also, junseo has the audacity to act so morally high for that ending when he was useless for the entire show.…
also him forever hating his mom for what she did to ahjin EVEN after death with that letter left to make the mom suffer….. only to try and kill ahjin???? make it make sense 😭
also, junseo has the audacity to act so morally high for that ending when he was useless for the entire show. if he has the capability to try and kill ahjin in that ending cuz he thinks she became a monster, why tf couldn’t he kill a monster like her dad who physically abused her and wanted to use her for 🌽 money….. stupid men with their stupid double standards this is just a rant lmao
Completely agree. Cartoonish is exactly how I describe the villains here too. For me, over the top chaotic villains…
yeah like i know this show is not meant to be realistic but 😭 we want more character depth … the ending and events leading up to it were so predictable but i enjoyed neverthless
