This was totally dope! I think they are biased and just prefer jung so min. Or maybe since S2 has a bit of different energy than S1 that's why. But the story couldn't just move like how it was in S1, it required this energy to wrap it up perfectly. They are not analysing this correctly I believe

I didn't wanted to waste time writing a long comment but I think it will be useful for future viewers so here we go...

People are criticising Go Yoonjung but I think they didn't carefully reviewed her character and the circumstance her character was set in. Go yoonjung perfectly picked up the Naksu's character that Jung somin had created and left, just keep in mind that due to special circumstances naksu's character is like that of a person she was before getting exploited by jin mu. I heard this advice and it was so fun to watch her acing the character. She perfectly carried the flow of Naksu's character in the right amount, since she was now also carrying the duty to carry out the character of a priestess. She lost all her memories so giving her mudeok's heavy elements means she remembers all her tough times while training, and killing people. But since that cannot happen, they give her features of cho yeong (the child who held the hand of jin mu not crying even when she saw her father dying before her). An innocent, curious and bold child, who likes to have her way and is willing to play tricks every now and then. Its perfectly fine if she appears as a 3rd person, like cho yeong, since she is not naksu anymore nor mudeok, she only has those personality traits. she forgot everthing and is now making new memories with jang Uk, so she appears both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time.

I got goosebumps while seeing how Go yoonjung even picked up the habits of her character that Jung so min created, the same way of speaking and making that face , and calling "jang uk". No one can recreate a character so perfectly as she did. I'm beyond impressed.

This drama was really perfect. I even liked it better than the first season. First season had some filler episodes but I'm glad that they made this season well-paced. There was always something intriguing to look forward to in the next episode in S2. The story kept being tight from start to finish. The script was really good. They created many interesting theories and then unveiled them to the viewers nicely. This season really filled a lot of plot holes for 1st season. This season deserves higher rating than the previous one for me.

It's been a long time since a drama made me tear-up. I felt the sadness and bittersweet fate they had so deeply that it ached my heart when this only just a fictional story. All the actors did a wonderful job. It really is a thing to ponder over, how both ML and FL had such a bitter fate.

Jang Uk: He had to suffer from his gate of energy being sealed by his father, he had to live among hurtful rumours , lost both his parents, had to experience numerous life-death situation while training to finally reach Chisu, lost his only precious love by getting stabbed, had to suffer the consequences of having ice-stone within him, facing wraiths everytime, and now again fear of losing his love and so on.
Naksu: Had to see her family die, train hard till death, lived alone all his life in seclusion, had to kill numerous in the pretence of avenging her father, lost all her powers, trapped inside a weak body, got betrayed by Jin Mu who she thought was helping, lost his love, had to kill herself, had to maintain distance from Jang Uk again when she knew she could again not be with him, etc

Also, I'm glad that the crown prince got to be the king, he is the best king the country of Daeho could ever get. He is greedy but not enough to harm his own people. He knows when to stop his greed, and that the powerful ain't always an enemy but an ally. Jang Uk is better off a powerful person who wants to protect his loved ones. But Go Won knows that marriage and bride is not in his control, and that all that is a responsibility. jang Uk is a free person so I'm glad that he remained free and unbothered by these worldly material things like owning the throne. Crown prince is rather perfectly balanced to be the king than his father or mother ( both the soul shifter shaman, and his biological mother), Both his parents were foolishly greedy but he knows when to back down before things go out of control.


I'll forever remember this classic masterpiece!! I hope people take this drama as one of the top ones that all future generations gonna watch

The core is going to be political in S2 but it's kinda subdued rn!
You're gonna enjoy the political arc but you'll have to wait for it

It is actually both, historical and fantasy. Fantasy elements basically means including things like mages, magic, gumiho, alien etc
and historical includes the old times when there was no modern gadgets of any kind, king-queen stuff, eununch, kingdoms etc

I just completed it and man! I don't know what people are spewing....this was so good. It was even better paced than the first season. The plots were so interesting, loved the mysteries and seeing them uncovering one by one. I'm glad I took your comment in mind and watched with neutral energy. I loved it!! this season was also prefect

I just completed S2 and fr I want more of it. I'm literally watching everything that is there on the internet about AOS, like the games, etc

I'm betting on you and giving this a watch with same enthusiasm.....A lot of comments just wiped of my excitement which I had after just completing S1

The last episode moved me to tears with its amazing direction and visual FX. I literally got adrenaline rush. It was ethereal with the very last scene.
Naksu's rampage was also directed well. It was so fun watching it despite being a sad ending. I do feel bad for them but that just made this a wonderful artwork.
I hope the further story also turns out to be good too.

One more thing that I liked about this drama is that they didn't gave the main leads that long hair look. But rather modern, fancy looks. Hate me if you want, but I really liked it. They looked so good in it.

All in all, I'm glad I suddenly felt the urge to watch, when I never even gave a glance to it until now. I always didn't really had much interest in historical or fantasy stuff but this just won my heart. I really hoped to see more of the amazing battles and Naksu's real power-show, I waited for it till the end ,so I hope my wish is at least fulfilled in season 2

Its like meeting a soulmate in you!! I too hate historical dramas, I don't even remember if I have ever finished one. Those power struggles, politics and all just ain't my thing. Its my first time completing such a piece and even liking it so much. I never wanted to watch it, but recently I just felt like doing it out of nowhere and well I enjoyed it a lot and I'm glad I didn't missed watching such a masterpiece.

The amount of comedy was appropriate anyway!! It was well made....it had perfect balance of everything in the right proportions

It was well-made. The action scenes were on-point and interesting, the story was good and acting of the leads was amazing .
The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is that they didn't called police back-up at a lot of times in the 2nd half of the movie. Like you are in a death-life situation, just quickly give a call to your team mates so they can track you and save you on time. That was a bit unrealistic. And also I cannot understand why they didn't tried to arrest all the other criminals when the criminals also had done so many bad things (assisting in pornography, attacking/ ganging up to kill police officers, etc) and were easily catchable if they had called police.
That's why I'm gonna give this 9/10. It was a fun watch overall. Totally recommendable!!

The ending felt abrupt but this my first time watching such a realistic ending. I've seen all kinds of endings but it's my first time watching something like this. This wasn't rushed or anything but just natural and I believe in real life too, endings like that are too often considered in our happy moments

You really put that forward perfectly!! I feel too that they were both not wrong but that they worked with different ideologies and principles. They were just not realistically compatible. And I didn't saw the need for either of them to sacrifice their lifestyle or principles for each other.
But as a viewer I felt watching their story was a vain. Neither did they ended up happy nor sad but rather regretful. That's the worst feeling to leave with. It's like watching all those scenes they had all this while was for nothing. As a viewer I would want something tangible from them when they are not even the main leads. They were there to fill up the story for the mains so their story shouldn't end up like that is what I personally believe. Otherwise the director shouldn't even have given much importance to their story in the first place.
Like the Rao-Zhao couple was also given a lot of importance but their story was worth watching. Even if they hadn't lived this happily I would still consider it worthy since it had a end for their little story

I am loving the Rao-zhao couple!! Their story was so interesting from start till now. Even better than the main leads. The MLs in this drama are all green flags~
Zhao is the perfect husband anybody would want to have honestly. He's such a good person that it's impossible for such person to exist in real-life.
I liked the work arc in this drama too. I usually hate the workplace stuff bcuz they are kinda gloomy and well office dramas are all just the same old stuff. This drama comparatively had better office story, like the challenges that kept coming in their work-life was interesting to watch. so not only the romance part, but also the office part kept me engaged.
Currently on ep. 28, just a few more to go, but ik that if it gets worse from now on, I'll leave it any minute. I easily drop stuff if it doesn't meet my taste and standards. bcuz I'm here for fun and relieving stress so the dramas need to give!!
But i really wanted to write about my opinions so I came on MDL, just in case i drop this drama later

I highly think its gonna happen in the beginning of next episode (ep 7)....since wang is using jiang's bed and the mood kinda feels like it but its better to not keep any hopes indeed since he may hesitate and not to do it.

1) I think they are gonna take 1st and 2nd place
2) The electrifying scene that you are talking about may be a kiss scene, since I saw smth similar in the trailer

I have some spoilers for everyone since It's not digesting for me (they may not be entirely correct):
1) I got a quick look at the competition sheets of Jiang and Wang, and they both marked the same options throughout the sheet except 2 MCQs. So ig we know how well they did on the test. Our winners!!

2) For the accommodation thing, I recently watched the trailer of this drama, and apparently ig they are both gonna move to the dorms and live in the same room!! Now it can be college dorms too so I'm not sure if that scene was for school dorms or clg dorms.

UGLY??!!! I'm sorry i'm a T (as in MBTI) so honestly they are definitely not ugly
If they are ugly, we all are potato....I've never seen a better looking BL cast than this!! This is called top-notch looks.
It's not my fault that those people got bad taste....very much understandable!!
