So jiang asked Wang whether he still want to move to dorms, doesn't he feel close to him?? wang said "no" bcuz now he wants to stay beside him, he feel happy. now wang asked the same question back? But jiang wants to move out of the house, so wang thinks that it is bcuz he doesn't like him or doesn't want to be close to him anymore. bcuz that's what it literally means. But Jiang moving out maybe bcuz of other reasons or concerns he might have and not bcuz he wants to avoid wang in future. We'll know soon enough why Jiang is insisting on moving out bcuz it's definitely not bcuz he dislikes Wang
The tension in their scenes is so HIGH!! Whether it be positive scenes (flirting kinda scenes) or negative scenes (emotional, eye-watering scenes) . I'm feeling whatnot kind of emotions!! Both of them are so handsome and their acting is good too!! I just want a good story now, nothing else!! Perfect combo!! This is better than other BLs bcuz they make one of the ML's look very fragile or cutesy!! But here, it's more like a clumsy personality and soft heart rather than that cutesy thing and I'm grateful for that. Wang is portrayed like a natural boy and not given the girlish characteristic. I personally think what you said is true....cuz I realised that since last year idk what happened to them but the Korean industry is indeed putting more sexual content wherever possible, which was more of a taboo back then. They usually like to keep things clean and sexual content is generally not promoted but these days in every other drama, there is sexual content or nudity. Even in school-based dramas. A lot of them are not purely filled with it but there's actually no need for it as well. They used to put forth the content even without such scenes back then, which is why I do agree that they are kinda westernising it. Even the scripts are more like western shows, for eg the script of the recent series- hierarchy and so on

The last episode didn't really made much sense to me personally.....I always hated this kind of ending. It would be much better if they were all just gone and I just had cried for it and then it would be done. Now this kinda feels empty and insincere to me. I can't help but feel that way.
At least, Ruan being an NPC made me ease my heart, bcuz the only thing that irritated me in this whole series was that how dumb the characters were at some points. Like the clues were just in front of them, so obvious, yet they would realise it minutes later. Sometimes the leads, even Ruan would be so dumb and then the next moment hella smart. Quite a contradiction to their IQ level. But after learning that Ruan was an NPC, I understood why he kinda got dumb at times, since he couldn't expose himself to Ling Jiushi.
I'm overly impressed by Xia Zhiguang's acting.....it was perfectly relatable and realistic. I have only watched him before in 'Please classmate' where his role was very different from here and he didn't had such an overly complicated character like here. So his skills couldn't be shown enough, I still liked his cute and silly character there. But the character Ruan gave me chills like no other, it can't be expressed as just liking the character, but rather respect towards it.
Idk if i should say this or not, since people would attack me, but considering this as a public discussion forum to express one's opinion.....I'll just let it out of my heart. I personally feel that Huang junjie kinda didn't got as engrossed in his character as others it. Half of the time he was really good, but specially in the emotional scenes, it kinda felt superficial and not that real. The only time I got chills from his acting was in the scene where everyone thought Ruan died in that 10th door game.
This series, just like other series based on the same concept, still had loopholes. However, the actors and their characters were tremendous!! The emotional bond I felt with all the characters scares me too.....I just felt their joy, sorrow and friendship even though I was just watching them through a screen All in all, I really enjoyed it....I would never hold people back from watching it. The games were still interesting to watch, the stories about the NPCs were interesting. My heart just broke for Ruan, I feel overly sad and bad. It literally feels so terrible inside even when this was just a series. Now ik why people were so emotional about the line " I appeared for you and I will disappear for you"
well I already saw that drama when it was first released.....moreover, he has progressed more in terms of acting as compared to that drama. So i wish to see new modern dramas from him

I lost the count of the number of loopholes it had.....and it felt pretty dry considering how just the people related to the leads were in prison. Ik that it was bcuz only they were allowed to play the game. but the way they were making that prison some grand thing, I expected more. As the drama progressed, the games started getting worse
