So I got recommended behind the scene for KTL and the video distract me so much because you can see how the nuance and atmosphere you have in the drama also translated on the behind the scene. I saw the director being happy about the shot and it feels heartwarming to see them feel satisfied on their work.

I find the drama also strangely relatable, the regular people working environment, the grandma, the girls share house, the bus. The drama has this homey feeling about it when I can enjoy how they enjoy their life and see how they survive the obstacles. It's like how watching variety show about people doing mundane things or vlogs. You know it makes you feel warm inside and you know something is too good to be true but you also relate to the character that you wish them the best.

I really want to watch heartbeat but monday-tuesday is really not working for me.
I may binge watch it when it ends.

Eh, from many changes they did from the webtoon, they should changes the car crash/accident from the webtoon, it laughable that they kept this one instead.

I shouldn't watch this drama on release cause I am single at this moment and this drama makes me sigh,
they are too cute and they call me single every episode. T.T
I can't with the sweetness, they really look like they have crush on each other, it's not plot related, it just the way their eyes follow each other.

If they keep review bomb this, I probably start writing review and give it 10/10

I love the setting and the way the mood set for the kisss

The director is so good though, I like the hotel shot and I remember how full of life the sets look like and the kiss sets up is so good. The build up and also how they lock eyes first before kiss makes it all worth it. This is the Wet Kitchen Counter Kiss.

I feel like I shouldn't watch that kiss. The build up, the close up, the eye contact, the slight smile, that gaps between their lips, their hand and fingers movement, those water, the half wet clothes and their breath. It's so intimate that even when you remove the previous episode, it still a very good and full of love (and passion) kiss.
I am like "this needs to be censored, it's their personal moment, close your eyes people, this isn't an entertainment" yet this is actually a drama and the chemistry is really good. This couple is so good.

It gives me coffee prince and lie to me kiss scenes vibes.

This is strictly webtoon story:
In the first life, Jieum/Juwon is an aristocrat and she has a twin sister. They run away from their home to live a simple life without forced marriage and just leaving the nobility. In this life, she dressed up as a man and pretend that they were married (she and her twin sister). One day, she saw her twin sister fiancee on the street and she told about where they live. When she comes back to their home after that day, she saw her twin sister died in the hand of the fiancee and she felt guilty because she had told the fiancee about where they live. Therefore, she wished to the "God" to witness that her twin sister will live happily, her goal is to see her sister happy. The reincarnation of the sister in the 19th life is Do Yoon.

I don't really remember the 1st life conflict much before they run away but it's about forced marriage and how the fiancee felt betrayed by their action.
That's all we know, we don't know anyone from the first life beside Do yoon

In the webtoon, only people who remember their past life can recognised each other by touch and they all in their personal mission based on what they asked the "God" when they meet the "God".
Jieum can only find out about her 1st life when she touched do yoon but do yoon or like the other people who don't remember will not remember no matter what, even they were told that someone remember them as someone else.

It's like personal mission for each person to feel content about their life so in this universe, even when jieum remember her next life, she can never find seoha reincarnation because she couldn't find out it either, unless seoha' remember his past life with jieum and she is the trigger/reason for him to remember his past life.

Let's say seoha remember his past life and the trigger is his mother, seoha will not be able to find out if jieum/juwon just by touching her but he'll know that she also remember her past life like him if they happen to touch each other.
Also there is no consequences if you tell people that you remember your past life. There is no supernatural things, just that you remember your life before this one and you had reincarnated into this life.

I rewatch ep 7 and realized something
- the dialogue flows so smoothly but they also talk between the line that is understandable for the viewer. It makes your heart beat foolishly because you both knows they were playing with the words.
- The plot movement, the PR game, the new guest, the discussion with the assistant and how the seniority needs to changes to have better work environent is showing in a good amount. We need to lift each other idea is very much present in this drama, maybe not really on the up front as the plot but I like it.
- I love the scenes when she explained the hotel essence to him.

I love the slow motion in this drama, just because it's kinda silly and it lets the ost sunk deep.
I don't really like slowmo in general, it personal for me cause with the good ost, it just feels right.

short answer : nope, don't like the changes. There are good changes but a lot of the main storychange is not in good direction.

Long answer : still a no, it changes the essence of the story.
The manhwa is about taking charge of your own destiny despite how many lives had proves you wrong and the drama is "yep it's all about fate"
The manhwa is refreshing in the genre because it's not about the past despite how everything is related to the past but more about moving forward and the drama is "let's make another flashback on top of flashback, let's reference all of your past life"
Also I am still hang up on how they changes the chowon character and chowon doyoon love stories. It makes them look less independent than their original character, they aren't such a damsel in distress that needs seoha all the time to be relevant in the drama.

The chemistry is bad and in the drama, I feel that seoha likes juwon and did not like jieum which is totally on the opposite way with the webtoon.

There is a lot of subtle comment about resume vs experience, promotion vs capabilities, seniority vs being a good worker and many other in their dialogue and interaction. Sarang even tell guwon that as a worker they don't have much favorable choice when they want to stay on the job

It's like a well made Ramen, you are familiar with the taste, doesn't make it less satisfying to eat

I think people give less credit to the female lead but she has adjusted her approach to people in different status and background and that's how she managed to make the male lead open up to her. I know it doesn't sound like that in the subs but the female leads speak very well.
Her charm and also the way she speaks is eloquent and makes other people easily come into making connection with her. She is welcoming, not just to him, she is good at making people feel at ease, even when they end up criticizing her and this very exact reason is why the male lead attracted to her where he feels unwelcome in many part of his life.

yeah, it's about the moment and also satisfying moment,
that's why we get many complicated drama that looks good in paper with many theory but end up burned their viewer because it's not satisfying.

The drama for me has the perfect ambiance, it makes you feel the moment but romcom moment is also a hit or miss so when you looks for a catch 22 moment, you'll feel like it's not there.

On the other hand, when you catch the glimpse of their expression after each other, when you can see that their smile who has to be corporate smile also can means genuine appreciation and also how their exchanging text message reminds you of your own silly antic, that's where the drama shines.
It's the little moments that adds up and reminds you that love is sometimes that simple, you just want someone to come over when you feel sad without you have to ask them to come, someone who notice you trying to sugarcoat your fear out of embarrassment but lets you go along with that, someone who can look at your silliness and stay with you, someone who is always there and their present makes you feel that whatever hardship you face is worth the cause, someone who makes you less lonely.
As you said, it's classic tale, to let people know what it looks like when you have someone that trust you and also look at you with happiness.

yeah, I think KTL viewer knows its flaw, they just think the butterfly feeling is worth it and chose to focus on that.
I don't get the comparison with See you in the 19th life either since I agree " it isn’t half as deep and well written as the fans make it out to be".
Both drama aimed for a different viewer base and even without KTL, See you in the 19th life is already a mess on its own with fans that pretending that it's a holy grail.

I think monday-tuesday drama needs their own way to count their popularity or reception since every monday - tuesday, I just get caught with everything and watching drama on time is not in my priority.
