It because in episode one, the requirement to enter/submit your cv is university degree and the female lead got in by luck since the HR misread her information. We see it in the very beginning when the HR point out her resume to the sister.
That's why her interview question is nonsense, the HR and the sister at the time can not fault her because the HR are the one who mistakenly accept her resume so they are planning to make her failed the interview. Then she shows a really good performance and that makes she passed.
The other coworker thinking that she didn't deserve it because she didn't pass the minimum requirement, all in all it actually because of the sister decision. Rather than just plain jealousy, there is the feeling of betrayed cause they get a longer and higher degree for their cv/resume and they see someone got in easier than them (presumably). In one way I get it because job market is hard and university took longer time to finish so the idea of shortcut (albeit mistakenly deduced) will make someone feel like the FL is inadequate, resulting on them looking down on her. In the drama, there are other who don't think the same like the manager and the sister but I think it's understandable that other staff find it unfair.

People can still getting to know each other and building their relationship after they agree to date because relationship is ongoing, their argument, their discussion even after getting together navigating their different position is also the plot, romance does not stop after confession,

The progression of them getting to know each other, talking and building connection with each other is the plot. The character progression is the main plot in this drama rather than event related plot.

I think this also because the recent viewer may binge watch the drama which imo decrease this drama attraction. Binge watch will make feel like the plot is not being developed not knowing that the relationship is the plot.
Also, having watched a lot of drama, I think execution is as much or more important than fresh idea/trope. There is hardly anything new under the sun, execution is what makes something special.

I am not sure why people don't like Junho here. Imo, acting as goody nice and easy going without looking weak, unrelatable and snobby character ala Go Won and Sa rang is difficult. Both the actors shows their capabilities on portraying character that is easy to watch without make you feel patronizing by their morality, I hope that makes sense.

I get what you mean, this is why I feel the drama is strangely relatable despite how it's a fantasy romcom. It gives the look of people in the service industry, how this people from the bottom do want to change stuff and felt uncomfortable but also held down by the culture.
Seniority dynamic is big and it's something that comes from small comment about where to eat to submitted an actual report.

I think this drama excel in the execution which I appreciated.
There are so many plot that you can go through to find a truly unique series but execution is also the defining factors.
Another things is this drama is made to be weekly, if you binge watch it , many things will feels flat since the show is heavy on how light and easy it is to watch.

I think people are sensitive because everyone deep down know about the inflated rating, that's why when the rating got 7, new fans will think it's around 6 because every other show is at least rated 8. It's about the balance of the site.
The reason why older show rated low is because no one rated them when it aired, it mostly from the new user that probably have watched it a long time ago , new fan that just found the show on streaming and don't think it age well or user who think that the drama is full of cliche even when it's actually fresh on its time.
Also, people who watches easy to watch drama with no angts imo rated it high precisely because it's predictability.
After watching so many drama, sometimes you are tired of stuff or idea that fumbled the execution and more appreciative of the execution itself. It's more about how the drama do the cliche more than the cliche

I lowkey don't mind story of their daily life. Their dialogue and chemistry is so natural that it's nice seeing them having conversation about who is gonna cook today.

they wouldn't even know that even the controversial scene itself is debatable and don't hold up for the entire drama.
There are also a lot of user who comment wrong information and I believe it because they are jealous that this drama beat its competition at the time its airing.
If people read careful review, they'll see which one is legitimate and which one isn't.

Usually drama get harsh review equivalent with their most significance plot moment or at the end but this drama has ended a week ago and the drama has cemented it's plot almost 2-3 weeks ago. this low rating happen too sudden and then many user suddenly comment and celebrating it, knowing that viewer who used to watch this drama will not be active on replying.
It just feels like a coward move to show that this drama is bad while when it aired, it actually didn't and was not having this many complained.
I even read some misinformation that totally out of the norm which some user answer everything with "don't watch this drama"

as a webtoon reader, I just can't fathom how they make this drama go in total opposite of what the webtoon is about.
Chowon character changes but the actress makes it work , but then at the story level, it create so many confusion.
This drama really failed in what they are trying to do, as an independence drama and as an adaptation.
The one things I feel really disappointed is the chemistry, at least they should look like a couple and not like a show window couple. I genuinely can't think that this couple will be together other than because the plot demanded them to. Their character don't match, their acting don't match and their chemistry is barely there.
Wish all of them luck in their next project

I think the translation don't make the dialogue as good as it sounds in the drama.
They talk naturally, their conversation flow and they have back and forth like normal people. It's a drama that all about the character and their life and I appreciate it like that. It's not complicated yet it feels comforting because the character learn from their mistake but also very happy and kind at the end. It's like too good to be true but that's why it's a drama.

I don't think there is big disappointment in the ending, I agree that it stranges how suddenly it rated so low, I don't mind it low but it just too sudden.
I think people bingewatch it when it ended and think that it isn't good, still this drama is a weekly release.
