My least favorite trope in kdramas is the "I killed someone", when they did, infact, not kill anyone but was just…
ooh the fake tension, this is what I feel and you describe it, that's why I can't take this drama seriously, it's so obvious that there is no real repercussion for the male lead even if he did killed her because the drama will make it "not his fault" either way. Also why focus on stuff that actually not interesting? It's like they don't have plot and pretend like anyone care about the side character. It's not even romantic (imo) to be a romcom and not good as mystery.
"I just feel like every character just do their part and not an actual character, they move because the plot needs…
let me break it down then "Every character just does their part": They perform actions or engage in events, but they lack depth or complexity beyond their assigned roles. They act out of character just to made up a tension to prolong the series while if they act in character, the plot wouldn't happen.
"Not an actual character": They are placeholders or plot devices rather than individuals, this is the suffered male lead and the only girl who believed him and all other supporting character beside the comic relief is unbelievably irritating.
"They move because the plot needs them" : same as above, they don't seem to act according to their own internal motivations, desires, or personalities; instead, they are moved around like chess pieces to serve the narrative's progression.
Rather than troll, I just genuinely sad that kim so hyun new drama is like this, be real, it's not even have international buzz now, everyone is talking about moving, mask girl, behind your touch.
I just feel like every character just do their part and not an actual character, they move because the plot needs them and they lack flairs, this drama is a blunder despite the great premise. Even the romantic chemistry can't save it cause . . . they don't have romantic chemistry.
So does anyone else think Do Ha's character is a bit dry (in a romantic way) or is it just Hwang Min Hyun that…
he just bad at acting, he was bad in aos and people defend him, even kim so hyun is also not doing it romantically for me, they are a bad match imagine if he is not an idol, nobody will find your statement controversial or even try to defend him in any sort of way.
Are we not going to talk about the fact that they essently pulled the classic overdone annoying garbage CHILDHOOD…
funnily in the webtoon, they aren't even met as an adult in the past life, there is no first life stuff that shown in the drama so the story has always been about childhood connection trope.
This webtoon is quite a satisfying story, it has some blunder and weird side plot but I think the charm is about seeing the downfall of the antagonist and how to see the protagonist build their life again. The antagonist deserve it and we want to see them suffer. I hope they executed this path well cause that's what a makjang drama can do, give the unredeemable villain and give them no redemption and let the protagonist live happily. The main lead is so cute, they have a really good and healthy relationship, the starting point is a bit iffy, it makes you guess if they are good for each other but everyone else is just toxic, from social to criminal which is why we want to see them getting what they deserve.
the writer just not good, like the backstories is supposed to make you pity Doha and hate the ex, which is how everything in this drama somehow get portrayed, one sided so we can choose what the right answer.
I kinda hope she doesnt go for the role, i really don't care for her or BP. If she does, good luck with it, i…
yeah she is supporting actress level at best, she doesn't have presence in the drama when she was the female lead. I hope the director is like the Reply series where they can elevate the natural tendency but eh, she isn't lead material and mumble her word

I haven't seen Snowdrop yet, but Jisoo is actually a good actress, or she's only getting roles because she's from…
she is supporting actress level at best, she doesn't have presence in the drama when she was the female lead. But also, she doesn't have actual filmography to even know if she is that bad or the script is that bad, frankly for me, she can't act, isn't lead material and mumble her line, like seriously, she needs to learn how to speak clearly first.
Odd. just finished episode 10. is it me or is the chemistry between the two leads waning? 🧐
It feels like they were pretending, I don't think they have much chemistry since day 1 but they are not getting better imo. Their character really match well on narrative, like when you write down why they have to be a couple and what they do together, it checked out and help your immersion but the execution is just not working. For this week, it because the narrative has died down and they have settled so they need to rely on chemistry alone which they don't actually have, hence the chemistry fell off even more.
dropping at ep 10. i find the leads acting so lacklustre and the plot is getting very meh
I get you, I watch it without paying much attention because it's so stale, can't even see much chemistry. I still really like the premise but I am going to finished it for the sake of finishing it. Kinda sad that this is new KSH drama.
I have to be onest, i liked and still like it,but after ten episodes the drama become just a little boring/hard…
There are a lot of people who think the same, the buzz, rating, the comment, the amount of like, everything went down for this drama. Many people have left and we usually don't see this so it's not just you. Imo there are more people who have dropped this drama than watching it.
One of things I like about this drama is how saetbyeol is not actually a nice well behaved girl from the beginning. I mean she start off not being the good girl so I understand why it can turn the viewer off but at the end of the drama, you see her growth and what she learn in this story. Also I like how the male lead out their boundaries and then just look at her as she is the more they interacted. I get why she likes him, he is nice and the whole drama is actually about how he can like her because she did not start off well for him.
The romance part just not romantic, the premise is really good but the execution is lacking. also for some reason, it feels like KSH seems to lack local buzz / popularity
I'm surprised this is so popular. I do like the main couple, but this is just so boring that I feel the urge to…
the rating and buzz is down, people who don't like it hardly write comment anymore and the male lead is idol for popular group, you can see how this garner attention in mdl but it's kinda meh drama. I really like the premise, it's really good but that's the only good things.
I can see why the ratings dropped.. there are too many typical kdrama tropes and it's annoying. The plot is also…
The rating dipped because the romance is simply not romantic imo. People stick to romance drama where the chemistry between the cast is good, no matter how "slow" or "weird" the plot. This drama just lack chemistry as romance, plot and narrative, the chemistry is good on paper but the execution is lacking.
seo jihoon is just a really good actor lol. character-wise there's not much to root for in their relationship…
yeah, it's acting related since plot and narrative, the male lead is better for the female lead. It just male lead acting sucks and it ruins the chemistry.
