no, in the story Qi's child emperor is a girl disguised as a boy. so the actress is playing a girl playing a man…

Is the Qi's emperor women or men? They always address her as a "He" but she actually is a "She" right? Is it an actress playing a men role?

I agree. This drama left me feeling empty, not the 'good' emptiness after you are high, but just downright empty lol. I feel relieved finishing this drama.

I skipped extended parts of a scene so much, like the 2nd to 7th shots of kissing or the walking scene because it kinda felt redundant.

As for me, what makes this drama bearable is really, the supporting character. All women here are so badass and awesome in their own way, especially the mothers. I really want to see Se-Ri making up with her mother, but unfortunately it is not shown. The cinematography isn't my cup of tea too, I don't understand the hype.

I start watching this yesterday to understand what makes this drama get that 9.1 score in MDL, but I guess this is a little bit over rated, just like DOTS. It is just that the cinematography of DOTS is better in my opinion.

I guess I just don't really like unrealistic drama lol.
