i don't care about what anyone says, but MGB is winning in the sound design aspect. from the beautiful opening, ending, the BGM during those intimate scenes, and the almost perfect proportion of dialogue and music mixing.. the use of sound contributes a lot in movie/series and not everyone can do it this tastefully or even just give proper attention to it.

You're so right. This is the first time I've watched this and wow even with outdatedness this show still hits. I feel like this is an equivalent of makjang dramas in kdrama universe, and maybe closer to lakorns (i haven't watched any, but from what i've heard they might donn similar style to this). most of the time winner plays the new joe as well, think of this as we're seeing the soul of the person because old joe's played by winner, thus the soul also takes winner's form. why we see the soul form instead of the physical form might be because the story is told in the 1st POV, which is old joe's. the actor for the new joe only appears when we see him in 3rd POV, or on a reflective surface like a mirror.

My point is maybe this drama is not the type to be binge watched. I also fell asleep multiple times, they talk TOO MUCH. Hotel del Luna's writer did a better job in this regard, though they had a simpler storyline.
