pls recommend me another cdrama as good as this drama .. i need more :((
Dang it, if you mention TMOPB, JOL, and NIF while you recommend a drama, I just cannot resist fron watching it. I was not sure. Now I gotta watch this a.s.a.p!
Goodness the last episode tires me out. She only uses her strength when ML's at risk. She doesn't really care about other people.
Well ig she's not exactly a heroine, she's more of an anti hero and if she starts to save other people (who usually bullied her), it'd be so out of character.
I don't think she'd take the ice stone too. No wonder they'd make 2nd season.
So far, I haven't done any "full" rewatches of any drama, even if it's my all-time favorite. Idk, I just dread the possibility of me thinking "what is this? What was I thinking? It's not that good.." Yoo, just thinking about it feels painful lmao.
On a side note, I kinda rewatch dramas that I on-hold multiple times, and those dramas are usually the ones which I don't want to part with (cuz it's that good) or which I cannot continue at that time (cuz it's overwhelming me). I watch them from the beginning when I try to finish it. So, I ended up watching the first half 2-3x before finishing it lol.
Now, I am contemplating whether I should rewatch LJG's dramas like Scarlet Heart and FOE because I like them, they just don't grip me like everybody else. So I thought maybe I was too young to understand LJG's charm or smth.
On a side side note, I've rewatched the 2005 movie "Pride and Prejudice" almost annually. And the 'Kevin' Home Alone story, think I can rewatch it many times and more. Some movies are classics in my book. Also, thank you for the wonderful article, Shiro!
why the f people be complaining abt romance in this ?? its a whole ass revenge story for f sake puta
It's because the drama big time hints about it. Hee A and Han Mi are almost always flirting with HW. But the story is not pushing it further and it seems as if there'll be romance but it won't be shown to the audience. I hope they'll just forego romance altogether. It only weakens the plot and it feels out of place.
#3 one of the main reason of Shen yi joining the police department was because of βthe lady he could not draw…
Thank God, I thought i was the only one not paying attention, turns out they just don't explain who that lady is. I agree with all of your points, i think it'd be amazing if they flashed out the side characters more and the transition between the cases are choppy.
I lowered my expectations going into this drama because of the ratings and reviews, even though I didn't fully read any of them. I was just so intrigued by the title and the proposed theme, about the Mountain Jiri. Wouldn't like that Joo Ji Hoon and the Screenwriter, Kim Eun Bok also prompted me to watch it.
And I am so glad that I decided to watch this. I feel like, the theme of this drama is extremely important for the young audiences. I greatly appreciate how it talks about nature, about the habitat and ecosystem there, and how they portray how magnificent and scary nature is. Makes me miss the mountain (which I've only gone to once), makes me want to go so badly. 10/10 for me, the positive things hugely outperform the less-than-perfect aspects!
Am I the only one who feel like this drama is dripping with subtle romance? Like you can feel the tension and care in the air when they're together. This is a slow burn romance omg, I cannot help being excited and nervous on how their first skinship would look like
That analysis of Goo Jun Pyo's kisses gives me shivers down the spine. I was young when I watched it and I definiteoy didn't reapize the progression. Such a well written and interesting article, Shiro!
I agree, it seems like an exhaustive work. Maybe just write what you're most interested with, well, I'd read anything you write tbh, be it short or long. Whatever you're comfortable with. Also, waiting for your review :)
