VERY WELL PUT!! i agree with everything you have said, i have stopped paying attention to mdl ratings because i have seen how unreliable they are, but it still pisses me off seeing cringe shows being rated higher like are we watching the same show?? 😭
AND YES WHEN LIGHT FADES WAS SO SO GOOD, i know it was not very compelling at the first episode but after that it just got better better with every episode, the plot, the chemistry, a good direction and screenplay, everything was there but it was so underrated, that show was the last blow for me to understand yeah the ratings doesn't really matter on this platform, that's why i always left a good comment after every episode, not glazing the show, but stating the facts that how good this show is and don't judge it from 1st episode and stuff and that don't trust the ratings, so that if anyone wanting to watch the show, reads my comment, they actually give it a try and not just put it in their not interested list judging by the ratings...
