I just started watching the series and it feels so familiar. It's like I've seen it before. But I'm sure I haven't seen the original, I haven't seen any Taiwanese series. Is there a series that is similar to this? Like there's a girl student who works in a record store (or bookstore) and meets two boys there, one of them likes her but she's into the other boy?
I usually finish series even if I don't really like them, because I'm want to see how they end, but I just couldn't watch this one, even though I started it at least three times.
Honestly I haven't even watched this drama yet, so this comment isn't a defense of this specific drama, but I'm…
Netflix may not be good for all series, but I think it's been very good for kdramas. I need light soap operas sometimes, but also more serious series, closer to Korean movies. I don't understand people, the two are not mutually exclusive.
People doesn even know how bad reputation this writer authors has in Korea of copying other dramas and works.…
They also copy elements of western series and works too. Sometimes it is very obvious if you know the originals and you can see so many copied ideas and details you can’t keep track of them.
It somewhat reminded me of West Wing (by Sorkin) which is a complex and brilliant show, unlike this. It's promising at the beginning, but goes down quickly.
"Despite the poor acting of Go Ara...." Ok, no way I'm watching this... she already spoiled Hwarang for me
I think there are no problems with her acting. Her character is super annoying and she made me feel very angry sometimes, so I think she did a good job.
