the ost of this drama is SOO GOOD especially ē¶ęø. actors have such good chemistry and even the sets and scenes…
Yes, it is the first cdrama that I actually bought the OST for because I couldnāt find it in Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube. Listening to it brings back such memorable scenes. The music really highlighted the poignant scenes.
Anybody suggest me some period dramas pls. I would appreciate that have no trope of immortality, cultivation and…
- Love Like the Galaxy (watch 1st episode, then skip to episode 6; it is long but the character development of the FL is wonderful) - A Journey to Love - Scent of Time - An Ancient Love Song - A Familiar Stranger
I donāt think her intention was to ārapeā him. I think she wants to make it appear that wayā¦without committing…
Fair. When you said rape, I understood it as forced intercourse (which didnāt happen in the drama), but yes, undressing someone without their consent (any gender) is not acceptable. I want to be clear that Iām not advocating nor condoning that. Iām stating what I saw in the drama and understand that the word ārapeā can mean different things to different people.

Yeah, agree she could have handled it better, especially given that sheās so smart, seeing through Shangguan He and NHās schemes. I wonder if she was being rash because she was so desperate. That said, it was a nice twist that she was the one who uncovered (literally š¤£) LSL identity and that the situation perfectly matches the iconic scene of the script, but through completely different means and intentions. Hilarious. Iām usually not one that likes conflict arising from mere misunderstandings, but I have to say, this drama executes it so well. But thatās just me. š

Thereās no way any man in that situation would agree to take their clothes off for herā¦unless it was Nan Rui, maybe, as it seems he would do anything for her š¤£. She drugged him because heās much stronger than her and could easily resist any attempts on her part. I doubt even with her intellect she could convince NH to agree to take his clothes off for her willingly.
Song Yiting, rape is not okay. Even if it's a woman doing it.
I donāt think her intention was to ārapeā him. I think she wants to make it appear that wayā¦without committing the actual actā¦so that she can appear immoral and not worthy of her motherās forced marriage plans.
I think there is more to it than a simple hatred for his family, or the cause of them late empress s death. He…
There was one scene between the emperor and Song Yu De where SYD sees that the emperor, though he favors Nan Rui more, canāt decide who should be the crown prince. A part of me wonders if heās testing Nan Hengās loyalty to him or to the Gao family. I also wonder if the emperor is doing this to make Nan Heng a stronger prince so he can become the crown prince. I think there is definitely more than meets the eye here with the emperor than simple hatred for the Gao family. Again, if the emperor truly feared the Gao family taking over and truly hated the Gao family, why did he bother to try and have a kid that has both his genes and Gao genes. Iāll be majorly disappointed if the script writer made the Emperor one dimensional cuz everything else seems more thought out and complex. But thatās just me.
The emperor hated the Gao family, one of the strongest noble in the empire but had to marry the lady of the house,…
this is my understanding as well, thus far... however, what i don't understand is, if you hate the Gao family that much, why would you try to have a kid with a Gao woman knowing the kid could become a crown prince in the future? his hatred is so strong that there must be something more...like he thinks NH is not his son or something, cuz i can't think of any father that could hate his own flesh and blood that much....unless he's just really evil man (but this seems too simple for such a well-thought out drama, thus far. i'd hate to think the scriptwriters would just stoop to an easy storyline for the emperor and make him "just evil", for no substantial reason at all).
Ugh, itās so good even on the 3rd rewatchā¦actually it might be 4th, I donāt remember anymore. š¤£Was looking…
