i also love bgm12. this one is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. i noticed it interspersed through the drama, but is most poignant near the ending.

I think she wasn't smiling because she has been waiting for him for a long time (you can see the tree has grown so much since they last planted it) and she probably couldn't believe her eyes that he was really back. He may have been too far away for her to see clearly and was still processing what is actually happening, after having waited for so long.
