No. It’s hate rating. They are just down rating the episodes to lower the ratings. It’s an issue with mdl…
Thanks.

On Dynamite Kiss Dec 12, 2025
I noticed that several users have already rated each of the remaining episodes (11-14), although as far as I know they have not aired. I wonder if this is simply a quirk of MDL or if people are somehow getting early access. It puzzles me why people would bother rating episodes they have not watched.

Guys, before we could comment on each episodes on dramacool, are there anything similar now? I know streaming…
I do not know how often it is used, but it seems to me (based on a quick look) that if you use the Episode Guide link above, then select the episode you could comment on the particular episode. I looked at episode 1 and there were comments. It would certainly organize the comments better. If you don't watch a show in real time, it is far too cumbersome using this page to find applicable comments. Anyway, hope that helps, Note the comments are after the forum listings.

Title Last Summer
I'm half way through episode 7 and it's honestly kind of fun to watch Do Ha unravel. He came in with grand plans…
I find it baffling. I am having difficulty with the drama because I do not feel any connection to the characters. Regarding the relationship, I don't know why Do Ha is so fixed on Ha Gyeong, so it feels more like obsession than love. As you mentioned, nothing in the drama has really shown why they should be together or why it would be a good thing. With respect to her personality, I am not sure how much of it is as a result of the happenings in the last three years and perhaps temporary, and how much is simply the way she is. At this point though, I find it rather off putting. Neither of them seems to bring out the best in the other. However, like you I am interested to see how the writer can bring the pieces together. I hope that the drama is more than bickering. I'm fine if a drama doesn't end with the perfect couple, but less so when everything is mashed together to create an ending that isn't supported by the rest of the drama.

Title S Line
While I would have appreciated a different ending, overall I enjoyed the drama. Once you begin watching and see the red lines coming out of people's heads and feel the darkness of the drama, it's clear that unless you are able to accept the world of the drama you will not enjoy the story. Whether the world is internally consistent I'm not sure. I was okay with it and generally accepted what happened. No, it wasn't perfect and at times I would have preferred things to unfold differently.

It would have benefited from more episodes so that the story could have been more fully developed. The comments below provided me with an early warning sign that the drama's genre was probably not perfectly captured by the listed genres and that I should expect something different, so I was almost prepared for the ending. Nevertheless, the ending was jarring, not in the "Wow, now everything fits! Cool!" sense, but in the "Wait, did I miss something sense? Are there more episodes". Unfortunately, unlike a bad episode, a bad ending can't be fixed by the next episode.

However, I'm glad I watched the drama, and appreciated that it tried to stretch beyond typical storytelling. It was worth my time.

Title Who Is She!
I enjoy body swap dramas, and I think this has the elements to be entertaining. Unfortunately, for me at this point I found the pacing of Episode 4 slow. Episodes follow certain arcs, the beginning is meant to grab you and the end is meant to keep you interested for the next episode and those worked for me. But the middle crawled along, although it did provide a basis for other plot lines which may or may not turn out to be interesting. I realize the sense of pacing is personal, and my impression of the pacing is influenced by when I watch the drama and whether I am watching as aired or binging. Regarding the other plot lines, I hope the drama is able to manage them sufficiently to produce an entertaining drama. It is only episode 4 so I suppose it is too early to be overly concerned.

On Joy of Life Special Edition May 12, 2024
I'm enjoying the special edition. I have watched season 1 so many times and read a translation of the web novel so the special edition although edited is a nice bonus. I noticed the various translations use different terms for some things. For example, the palace treasury and the kingdom names. I am very excited to watch season 2. Binging it would probably be the most enjoyable approach, but doubt I can hold out. If it is as good as season 1, I will no doubt do both.

Title Su Ji & U Ri
I know everybody wants to pretend like Han Jin Tae(hyun sung father) is a bad person but he most definitely isn't.…
Thank you for your comment. When I watch a drama like this I am never sure how close to reality the scandal reactions are and how realistically they portray what constitutes a scandal. I am surprised by how many things are considered scandals and how serious the repercussions are, especially with celebrities. In this case, I thought everything was overblown for dramatic effect.

This is a chinese cantonese Hong Kong drama.
I agree I am surprised at the number of responses you received and how many of them are negative. Mistaking a drama for a Thai drama - so what. I actually assumed it was a Thai drama at first based on the poster. Regarding the ML, there are numerous other comments with similar sentiments and people often comment on the visuals of actors. I find comments like - don't watch it then, particularly illogical. I'm sure many people watch dramas even though the drama may contain what the viewer may not be completely satisfied with. If not why would there ever be criticism. I supposed we are not allowed to make mistakes.

I had to stop watching this one. I'm a mental health counselor and I just couldn't suspend my disbelief this far.…
As you say, it is unethical. I remember reading of a real case where a psychiatrist became involved with a mentally ill patient. Lost license etc...

On Song of the Bandits Sep 30, 2023
I read an article today that stated this kdrama was initially planned for 20 episodes and that Kim Nam Gil and Lee Hyun Wook were disappointed with the reduction to 9 episodes. One of their main complaints was that the reduction eliminated the proper development of a number of the characters. If so, perhaps some of the comments people have made about unnecessary characters or superficiality would have been addressed had the full drama been released. If I understood the article correctly, what I found particularly puzzling was that, the acting was completed for additional episodes - whether all the episodes were finished, I'm not sure. However, the reduction was primarily a result of the editing process. I do not know why the decision was made to reduce the number of episodes; I assume it was a business decision. According to the article, Kim Nam Gil would be pleased to do a second season, even if it is necessary to do so on a different platform. Anyway, if someone has more accurate information or can help explain this matter, that would be great.

The comment that was made about your comment baffles me too - because of the ending with "lol", even more so. More generally, I do not think any comment deserves to be labeled "retarded". I give you credit for approaching that comment as you have done, rather than becoming involved in back-and-forth insults.

The drama already lost its charm! Just a forceful extension with weird romance lol
I agree. I have just started episode 11 and the supposed depth of the romance and strain on it caused by the surgery is difficult to accept. The romance does not seem believable to me, it was never properly developed and it sprouted full-grown out of nowhere. It is as though the characters said - okay it's time for us to be in a romantic relationship.

On Longing for You Aug 17, 2023
I am enjoying the drama. However, I'm not sure why, but I feel as though I have watched this drama before. Nothing is particularly surprising. It is still interesting, but not gripping. This may simply be because I have watched or read a lot of stories of this type, or there is obvious foreshadowing or telegraphing in the drama of what comes next. I don't know. Of course, this is only what I am currently experiencing while watching the drama.

On Durian's Affair Aug 13, 2023
I'm not sure if they ran out of time to properly complete the episode or if this was an artistic ending demonstrating the randomness and messy endings we have in real life. Whatever the case, I would have preferred an ending with more clarity. I think I understand how the various stories continued, but I feel unsatisfied. It's unfortunate because I thought it was entertaining, rather unique, and dealt with some interesting aspects of life.

You’re completely wrong. What Netflix doing is diving 16 episode ONE story into TWOs separate seasons which…
Well said. My concern with the multiple-season approach is that, for example, the first season does not complete the story (for example, Vagabond), and season two is never made, or the delay in making the second season results in significant cast changes. I prefer the self-contained extended mini-series format where the story is completed as a whole. Some dramas may have created a world and characters that warrant a new story but a continuation should not be required when season one ends.

I realize this question may not be completely appropriate here, but could someone direct me to a site/article that explains the SK ratings. I am a huge fan of AOS, but while I can compare the ratings to other dramas, the ratings themselves do not tell me much. As I understand it, there are SK ratings, but I thought Netflix does not publish ratings, and I am not aware of what information people are referring to when they speak of popularity with international audiences. I am a member of the international audience. I have watched dramas I have enjoyed with 2% ratings, and noticed there is excitement when ratings are over 10%, although it appears that wouldn't be great for some weekend dramas. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if someone would provide me with a site where I could become more informed. Thanks and I apologize if this question is completely out of line in this location.

I agree, but I do wonder if they will reveal his mother and father's history and whether it will be significant. I hope they do.
