FL's mother abandoned her and married ML's father.
i don’t remember them saying one way or the other when i watched but supposedly they’re only dating in the novel and not married so maybe that’s the case here, too.
Oooooooh. Adopted siblings plot 🙆🏻♀️They gotta add this Tag.
are they not? i haven’t seen all four eps yet but the drama synopsis says he’s her stepson and she was on his family contact list at school so i just assumed.

i’ve only just started ep 3 but so far it’s looking like they’re technically step siblings, not blood related. i say technically because as of now, zhou wan doesn’t have a relationship with her mother as her mother abandoned her when she was a kid and her grandmother raised her.
Are people like you simply not able to use the spoiler tag? This ruins all the fun for people who want to start…
it’s not just here, i’ve seen a lot of people on multiple different drama pages doing it. really frustrating when all i’m trying to do is see people’s general thoughts on the drama like whether or not it’s worth watching and i’m being bombarded with spoilers i didn’t ask for because people don’t have the decency to tag.
Is it me or did anyone else find their reunion scene lukewarm? I was expecting more than that.
it was underwhelming to me. i think it was because of the “near meetings” and missing each other multiple times but there was such a build-up there that when they finally met again it just wasn’t enough.
to be fair to a’jiu, he didn’t know it would kill her father later. those pills were given to him by his brother…
yea, he should have just said that. cdramas like to throw in misunderstandings though so if it weren’t over this particular thing, it would be a misunderstanding about something else. they do seem to be in a bit of better place with each other based on the next ep preview though so hopefully they’re back to normal soon.
poor chu zhao! she got betrayed again by her lover! she just found out that xie yinlain/ajiu poisened her dad…
to be fair to a’jiu, he didn’t know it would kill her father later. those pills were given to him by his brother and his brother told him they could save someone. he should have told chu zhao that though instead of letting her assume he meant to kill her father but i think he was too in shock himself in the moment to do much else but admit to it and too filled with guilt that he thought he deserved whatever she did to him.
We were robbed in episode one where he avenged her, all we saw was her view of him and then her view fades away…
i don’t know if they cut it from the drama as a whole or just ep 1 but yiran supposedly said the hug didn’t make it into the final cut so we’ll have to see if we see it at all. hopefully we do.
still not understanding all the hate this drama is getting. is it perfect? obviously it’s not, it’s far from perfect just like most other dramas are but i know i’m enjoying it because the one ep a day we get always ends way too soon so i have no real complaints. excited to binge the whole thing again once it’s over.
More than half of this show (currently in Ep. 21) is spent during high school period. If I knew, I wouldn't have…
yea, that’s how i feel about it too. it’s cute and i’m enjoying it for what it is and will watch until the end but this has shown me that youth dramas aren’t for me. just kind of waiting for their adult arc now.
I can’t handle the scenes with grandma, as someone who took care of my own grandmother it’s so hard seeing her suffer. ep 23 made my sob like a baby 😭💔
should have known a’jiu got that pill from his damn brother. that man stays doing too much like of course the brother is behind it why wouldn’t he be 😭
