also could be to show how much beyond his control/wishes everything is....like he can't even own his own name....imagine how frustrating such a life would be!!!

i think the "expressionlessness" is due to the nature of the character....he is doing a job he doesn't want to, for people who don't appreciate him but he cannot express any of his real feelings about the situation because he is in the public eye....so while his words are sharp, his appearance has to always be composed and calm otherwise the world will go nuts with conspiracy theores....this is my two-bit :-)

just my feeling, please people don't lose it over this ;-).....but bws really delivered the feeling of holding so much in while having to do a pointless and thankless job SSSSSOOOOO well....just through his eyes.....i feel like lovely runner was so much about his smile, this one is going to be so much about his eyes.....i felt he really delivered on the character and totally made me forget his lovely runner character while i watched the first episode.....well done BWS....IU is of course always great.... :-)

before i loved jono's story the best but now, hands down it is artok....ngern is such a good actor that i had to watch it twice despite me not liking his looks the most...and dao is just awesome....walking that line between non interested and oh so interested :-) loved loved loved loved this episode

as for PJY choosing to do this role....seriously, i can't think of anyone else who has the ability to shpw depth without doing anything as well as he does....llllllloooooovvvvvvveeeeedddddd him in this....awesome awesome.....really well done....he is maturing so well as an actor from yumi's cells 2...looking forward to all his future roles

imo, this is really what life is like....this series is such a beautiful potrayal of life as it actually is....the boring, the slow, the anxious, the joy but relentless movement of life....the inability to not allow small things to become huge....the missed moments.....the impossible-to-decide-either-way moments.......generally when life is shown as it is, on screen, it tends to be brutal with some exaggerated moments for drama....but this was really an as-is but still beautifully watchable presentation of life.....love love love it....huge huge props to everyone involved.....gonna be rewatching this for a long time...

his role in my generation is proof of his sincerity....he played it so beautifully while being super low-key....well done....happy to be your fan

true...but also in that he has that "older hence more mature" than the fl vibe....i guess it happens in dramas where the ml and fl are closer in age?!!?!? thinking waaaaay too much about this ......lmao...need to get back to work... :-)
